How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Run Away As Fast As You Can
Run away as fast as you can. Every step of my experience with Dr. Ghavami and staff was awful. Like many others have said he’s money hungry, arrogant, and does not listen to what you want. If you are not a celebrity you will be treated as such. You are just another quick cash grab and will be tossed aside. No support following surgery. Way over priced. Don’t pay the Beverly Hills price for this guy. He doesn’t care about you. He’s not a great god of a surgeon he’s great at marketing & social media.

I waited a 1.5 yrs for a consult, flew in from out of state, waited 2 hours in the waiting room and paid $750 to speak with him for maybe 5 minutes. He was rushed, had his hand on the door knob most of the consult ready to rush off to the next person. Then I caught him in the hall filming IG stuff of him walking back and forth instead of focusing on paying patients who flew in from other states! And he wouldn’t look at any of my inspo photos until I booked surgery. Red flag! I should have run then but the allure of his social media pictures/marketing had me thinking he was the best and the best would be busy. But I did see all his reviews and thought no that won’t happen to me. Welp it did and here we are. So take these bad reviews seriously. They’re all so spot on.
He was so booked out, a year went by before my surgical date, so I wanted another virtual consult since I didn’t feel many of my questions were answered and I was not heard. My Skype call was scheduled for 12pm. I waited for 3 hours before he came on( no apology for the wait), again he was rushed and impatient with me like I was inconveniencing him. I thought once I booked surgery he would take me seriously and look at my photos and hear out my desires. NO— I booked surgery, at the 2nd consult and again at my preop it was rushed I barely got to speak with him for maybe 5 minutes again. They didn’t even do the digital imaging that they said they would so I could pick sizing. My last time seeing him before surgery I had written down all my unanswered questions. He snatched the paper out of my hand and was like “you have all these questions moments before surgery” well yea dude ! after multiple consults and a preop you were always so rushed you still hadn’t answered much of anything.
I wanted a very natural and minimal breast aug to bring back youthful fullness not to increase size a lot. I stressed how small of an implant i wanted over and over again. I had a cc amount in mind from researching but I was talked out of it, he said there would be no difference and I wouldn’t notice anything. So I thought I was listening to the professional who looks at and works on boobs everyday and I went with his recommended Cc amount. I went from B to DDD. That is way too big for my frame and not at all what I wanted. I knew right away I would need to downsize. I also had double bubble complication which I specifically asked about before surgery and he was very cocky and arrogant saying that would never happen from him, well it totally did and animation deformity too when I very slightly move my arm at all.
I also wanted fat transfer to fill hip dips and a snatched waist. I was way too thin for this procedure and he told me to gain weight and if I didn’t we wouldn’t do it. Well I lost weight over the year of waiting for my appointment and he still did it. I wish he would have told me no. My waist size didn’t change at all. I asked if I would have rippling and uneven stomach because my thin friend who got Lipo has a lumpy stomach now and I was wondering if that’s common on thin girls and he scoffed and says “did I do her surgery?” Well no -but it’s a concern I’m asking about. He again said it wouldn’t happened because he’s the best. I was so disappointed as it left me with very obvious lumps and bumps, dents, hyperpigmentation ( large brown birthmark-like patches where the cannula tracks were where he lipoed, his famous diamond on your lower back that he lipos is one big hyperpigmented brown diamond on me, and Erythema ab liporaspiration ( red Lacey vascular marks all over my torso). You need a layer of fat to hide all the cannula scar tissue and marks and since I was so thin there isn’t that cushion to hide all the irregularities.
He also was inappropriate and unprofessional. He asked if I was a model and if I had an onlyfans and said he deserves a free membership since he “made me body”. Yea made it look worse !
After surgery you are set up with one of the consultants to help you if you have questions or concerns. I was set up with Nancy, who is the worst… the absolute worst. She would never respond to email, calls, or texts to her direct line. I was three days out of surgery in a lot of pain and it took her 3 weeks to respond. I asked for a different consultant and they said I had to stay with Nancy. She never responded to any concerns after surgery until I blew up on her after weeks of trying and it was that one response then radio silence on all other concerns there after. I was just left hanging on my own not knowing if what I was experiencing was safe/normal or not. I would have to call the front desk to try and reach a medical assistant to help with issues and would be on hold for 20+ minutes even just days post surgery I had to wait. All the front staff are so rude and aloof. I’m sure they’re so burnt out on how overwhelming busy that place is but it just makes the whole practice one dreadful place. Not a pleasant or supportive employee to be found.
Everything about this place is a money making scheme. You spend 32k on an scurve but they are going to charge you $200 for the BBL pillow you have to sit on for 6 weeks and $200 for the compression garment why aren’t those included?!? . He tells you you need to take this supplement for healing and scarring they charge $50 when it’s on Amazon for $6 for triple the amount of pills in the bottle. He causes permanent Lipo scarring on your body and each follow up tells you need lasers to fix it- the potenza laser, then the Bbl laser, the IPL ( which burned and scarred me). Everything is to make more money.
Their social media may look good but it’s all a farse! They edit and manipulate pictures and posing to make results look better. I had a bubble butt naturally already. I wanted my hipdips filled— not my butt. They edited my before to have a very flat butt so it looked like I had fat transfer to my butt and the results would seem more drastic. Also whenever doing my after photos they asked me to suck in as hard as I could and flex my abs super hard. They would twist and position me to make my waist look more snatched or butt seem bigger. They only post the best and most flattering shots and never showed any of my complications. Camera conveniently cut before getting to my weird boob or ugly markings on my skin. These are not real results. This is smoke and mirrors. Don’t fall for it.
Just run, save your money. Don’t waste your time on someone that doesn’t care about you. You’re just a dollar sign and the results won’t back it up. You’ll spend thousands more trying to fix it.
