Dr Ghavami did a revision rhinoplasty for me. I had ended up with a bulbous tip from my first nose job and he was able to revise that and give me a nose that is more natural-looking, a much more relaxed and appealing tip and I am overall happy with the results.
I have to say that it feels a little strange leaving a review for a surgeon, but I know how difficult it is to find a good plastic surgeon in a city of so many, so I believe the more information on the internet, the better. I have read a lot of the reviews here about Dr. Ghavami and on a few other sites. I understand people's issues and frustrations with the office, but to those reading this - let me ask you one question, What do you hope to get out of your procedure? I went for Rhinoplasty. My nose was big and I asked for button. No easy feat. And to say I'm fussy, is to put it mildly. I kept telling myself, "You're never gonna be 100% happy. You're not gonna *love* it, but it'll be an improvement." That is what I told myself for months before the surgery. I'm now 6 months post-surgery and I look F*ing amazing! When the cast came off, I just cried. I've never been happier in my life. I saw someone I hadn't seen in a year and she was like, "You look great. Did you get a haircut?" Nope. Haven't had a haircut for a year actually. She just couldn't tell that my nose was done because even though it's way smaller now, it in no way looks like I had surgery a few months ago. As I said, my nose was big and it had a large bump in the bone. I showed him a photo of a tiny, sloped nose and he said it was going to be a challenge, but doable. Then, with a wave of his wand, I have a nose that is not only exactly what I wanted, but it fits my face perfectly. It's the nose I should have been born with. Dr. Ghavami was recommended to me by someone, so I did my due diligence and looked at before and after photos, here and on his Instagram. I perused thousands of photos from hundreds of surgeons. His photos were far and away the best, so I knew I was in good hands. So, yeah, the office is very busy. It is hard to get an appointment and sometimes you have to wait longer than you want to. But this is intricate and delicate surgery, the best is worth waiting for. Also worth noting that the girls in the office are kind and patient. Chammy is a rock star, Mirna, the nurse, is a Godsend and the Doctor is an artist and just a really good guy. So, again, what do you want out of your procedure? If you wanna to look good, if you wanna feel great - go see Ghavami.
Dr. Ghavami and the beautiful team - you are AMAZING! For someone that is so scared of big decisions, such as, making changes to their face or body this is the Doctor to go to. 3 months ago I finally decided to do primary rhino/septo plasty! I am 3 months post-op of my primary surgery and I couldn’t be more happier with my results. And it’s been only 3 months! Dr. Ghavami did exactly what I had ask him for with his professional input. He has always been my number one choice for any surgery. I’m grateful for an opportunity to get my surgery done by him after following his work for soo many years. Moreover, the entire team is impeccable. Starting from Liana- an absolute sweetheart to Nancy and the rest of the nurses. I’m so grateful for all of them and the entire team for making this process so smooth for me because honestly I was very scared. From the first consultation to the day of surgery the professionalism was off the roof. Dr. Ghavami and the girls gave me peace of my mind and great results. If you’re looking making changes to your body I highly recommend to go by Dr. Ghavami. He’s the master of his work and words! Lastly, thank you so much Dr. Ghavami and beautiful team for an amazing rhino journey! My heart is full and filled with gratitude!
Last week I came into your office for a 5-month post-op checkup for my extensive revision rhinoplasty, + platysmaplasty, chin lipo & buccal fat pad removal. But, I also had a facial with Marisa who always takes special care of my skin, even with suggested aftercare skincare, and who I feel super comfortable and connected with. I’m no celebrity, just a normal girl who had a bad experience years ago, and knew I needed the BEST in the business to reconstruct what was out of place from my previous rhinoplasty/septoplasty from the other doctor. I just have to say thank you for treating me with the same care and kindness as any celebrity or other patient that walks through your doors. Your staff makes me feel like family and always goes out of their way to accommodate me, especially being an out of state patient and with these crazy COVID times they have always remained thorough and reassuring. I couldn’t be happier with my results, knowing I wasn’t going to get “perfection” ever, but Dr. Ghavami you came pretty damn close! And I’m so thankful! I still have a ways to go with healing (only being 5 months!) but thank you for the constant care and guiding me through the process even living across the country. You and your team are absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful for you all! Here’s a photo of me today, living in -2°F windchill the last week and my skin is still feeling so hydrated and beautiful! Literally no filter here at all.... And ummm look at that side profile! I’m in love! Thank you! (+adding a poorly captured before photo) Updated on 15 Mar 2021: The before photo didn’t upload the first time... so uploading a few of my nose BEFORE my revision with Dr Ghavami. Hope this helps. *Disclaimer, I never hated my before side profile, but the integrity of my nose was botched from my first functional procedure and the front tip was essentially pulling off of my nose and going crooked and beaked down. Dr. Ghavami was a miracle worker with my revision and saving my nose from the disaster years ago before.
There aren’t even adequate enough of words to express the amount of love I have for Dr.Ghavami and his staff. I have never met a human more INTELLIGENT, skilled, caring, attentive, tedious and beyond a PERFECTIONIST. He has redefined who I am as a person and how I see myself. He is worth every DOLLAR. Yes, you can go to someone who is less expensive; but you will not get the excellence his skill brings. From beginning to end; I was cared for, listened to, encouraged and motivated. Previously, I went to a different doctor “Harvard graduate” to get breast augmentation and he completely botched me and left me disfigured. I was left insecure, mortified and left with little to no hope. I was referred to Dr. Ghavami and it was an instant connection in KNOWING he had the golden hands to help me get back to ME. He did a complete reconstructive fat transfer to my breast, took me from an A cup to a full C cup and after a year and a half it has retained. I AM SO BLESSED to have encountered this man. If you are even thinking to have anything done by him, no more thinking, just call and see him. HE IS WORTH IT ALL! Alongside of him, is Chammy. She is an ANGEL. A complete dream team. She has a heart of gold, and goes above and beyond to comfort and to help you…plus she’s GORGEOUS! Nothing but amazing things to say about everyone… THANK YOU GUYS..FOREVER GRATEFUL !
I have never met a surgeon I have respected for their artistic vision and accuracy as much as I have with Dr Ghavami. I debated having a revision rhinoplasty and septoplasty because I never felt a surgeon would be able to create an exact accurate representation of my requirements. I would consider myself at the extreme end of particular and meticulous in my own aesthetic vision. I met my match with Dr Ghavami and his entire team. From the first consultation, I was enamoured with the detailed level of conversation, honesty and candidness. There would be no surprises because Dr Ghavami isn’t exactly the type to over promise and under deliver. If anything it’s quite the opposite. Obviously bedside manner and preparedness were phenomenal so I needn’t detail how much was done to calm my questions and concerns. Chammy Chan who manages the office is an incredible guide for patients. I had multiple procedures carried out at the same time, a rhinoplasty, septoplasty and the male equivalent of his infamous S-Curve, the G-Curve. I was probably more concerned that I had under estimated the recovery time and ensuing pain. I am still astonished at my recovery, if you even need to call it that. From the procedure itself (it was likely 6-7hrs) I woke up in no pain and a nurse of Dr Ghavami’s, who was also present throughout the surgery, came to stay home with me for 4 days. The day after the operation I went about my busy work schedule from my bed with no complaints. The nurse was perfection personified. The entire team that work alongside Dr Ghavami are clearly hand selected for their knowledge, but as important, their ability to connect and empathize with his patients. I found this most interesting considering I hadn’t expected as significant an amount of aftercare that would go above and beyond the norm. I’m now 18 months post surgery. The shape, proportions, shadows and natural look of my nose are incredible. It takes time for swelling to go down with revisions and I was patient because I knew what to expect - Dr Ghavami helps position your expectations that accurately. The end result was more and more exciting to see each day. Dr Ghavami creates a perfect nose with his infamous diamond tip, but with none of the tell tale signs of plastic surgery. I would never have believed anyone could have a perfect nose that wouldn’t look like a surgeon creation and I’m a very harsh judge. I assure you, it’s impossible to tell with his work. The male G-Curve is as sensational. This isn’t to be confused with a widening of the hip and the ballooning of buttocks. It’s the dip in the arch of my back, the reduction of minor genetic love handles and the creation of a gentle, proportionate curve from the base of my back. The fat was taken from my arms, which now have a more toned and muscular appearance, my lower stomach which is also toned and my lower back. I exercise every day, watch my diet and I clearly look like I take pride in my appearance. The G-Curve magnified that to such a degree that I finally feel all the hard work I put into my physique has paid off. There isn’t a single person who knew I was having this procedure outside of Dr Ghavami and his team. No-one has ever asked as the results are subtle but extreme enough to keep people guessing - which incidentally is his motto. I now continually visit Dr Ghavami for Botox, mostly because I adore him and his entire office. They are kind enough to fit me in at short notice and are just wonderful to be around. During a recent visit, I decided with Dr Ghavami’s guidance, to have another procedure, this time for fat transfer to the face and a small chin implant. That was 6 months ago and again, no one outside of his team knew this information. I have since received countless compliments, honestly too many to mention about how I look fresh faced, rested and healthy. In fact I would say the same thing about myself when I look in the mirror. It’s quite sensational to see the difference between fillers and fat transfer. The aesthetic, skin elasticity and movement of expression is far more vibrant. I look better in my mid-30’s than I did in my mid-20’s and I’m very, very proud of my own results both physically and emotionally. I can only thank Dr Ghavami, Chammy and all his team for consistently going above and beyond for me personally. I find that the pricing is more than reasonable for the outcome patients receive. I’m probably wrong to say that I feel his work is worth more than I’ve paid, but if that helps to convey the message I mean to leave with this review then it’s valuable to know. If you are detailed enough to want a master to conduct your surgery, Dr Ghavami is the gentleman to trust. I have absolutely no hesitation in saying he is the very best.
Absolutely amazing! Love the results I've had with surgery, Microneedling & PRP, Facials, Fillers and Botox. Highly recommend to anyone serious about having surgery results that are natural. Dr. Ghavami and his team are the best!
I had my Rhino Plath surgery the second week of June 2019. I wasn't super nervous until I got on the 11th floor for the surgery. I have 2 small kids and I parent alone so every decision I make must be a smart one. I always knew I wanted Dr.Ghavmi since my first consult in 2012. Dr. Ghavmi work on rhinoplasty is just so much superior to all the surgeons who work I looked at. He's a pro at the tip and bottom have on the nose and bridge of course. Many other doctors don't really do much to the bottom half of the nose they just straighten the bridge and leave the person with their not so charming lower bottom half of their nose. Back in 2012, I just didn't have the money for the surgery, so I did other things with the 5-10k in I had saved. The next year I had got into a emotionally abusive relationship with a NPD, left that evil and had kids to raise. I spent most of the years trying to find me again and realizing my life can't just be only about my kids happiness. Fast forward better credit and happier in life I was able to afford paying for the surgery with Amex loan and Alphaeon. Updated on 28 Jun 2019: I only have to tape at night for a week. I am going to tape at night more than that. Also, I was told a infrared red light wand can help with the swelling blood circulation. I will buy one later, I have a 10 watts one already at the house. I am happy, soon to be able to go in the pool , Ocean etc Updated on 18 Oct 2019: I am newly pregnant so my nose it's bigger at times and smaller at times. I will have to wait longer for my nose to be fully not swollen. In a year I will post again the final results. Today is a appear bigger day, yesterday was fine but I think to take pics. It's been a physically tiring and nauseating pregnancy so haven't felt liking being glam. Getting out the bed is accomplishment Updated on 29 Dec 2019: I am pregnant so my swelling isn't going down as fast as it would if I wasn't pregnant. However, it looks good to me. The tip still feels hard. When I blow my nose a little yuck is stuff comes out every now and then. My scars are healing. I am happy about it. The only thing not happy about is paying my note back to Amex because I haven't been feeling too well from pregnancy so I am working less than usual and I wasn't planning on being pregnant. One time shot and then it happen. I am very happy! I will post more after I deliver and close to one year mark. I am glad I did it. Updated on 28 Feb 2020: I can see all the way up my nose. Sounds silly but before surgery I could never see completely up my nose. I can now feel the air breath in from the top to the bottom. I think I must have had something blocking my airway before surgery. My breathing is So much better! I didn't know I could breath this well before.
I have always wanted to get a breast augmentation as I was so flat and being very skinny ( petite ) my body didn’t look very healthy overall and it was just my genetics. I wasn’t even an A cup and I was also nervous about going under and having the drip in my arm as it terrified of anything to do with that stuff so I was always so hesitant. I stumbled acros Dr Ghavami’s Instagram and was blown away by how easy the Flash recovery Brest augmentation was! Especially for someone like me who was so terrified of the whole experience I knew I had to do this! I am from Australia and was actually travelling too LA from Melbourne, AUS for a month trip! So I thought I’ll email and see if by any chance at all I could get in and do this, and so I emailed and received an email back very quickly from a lovely lady named Sadaf. She was so so helpful and told me it could be done and she actually had the perfect date for me and ensured me it would be perfectly fine and organised the whole thing two weeks out! I emailed her at least 100 times with all of my concerns and worries and she was always there for me. I got to LA and went in the day before my surgery and met everyone and was even more comfortable at the point as they where all so lovely and showed me on the 3D imaging exactly how I will look and discussed sizes. Surgery day was just the easiest thing ever, I arrived at 8am and was greeted by the most lovely ladies and I’m so thankful for them and how at ease they made me feel that morning, they even covered up my drip area so i wouldn’t feel sick if I looked at it and gave me a motion sickness patch just to be extra sure I don’t feel sick! I went in for surgery and 45 mins later I was out and woke up feeling fine and like nothing had happened and was home by 12pm moving my arms and no pain at all! I didn’t even need medication! The only thing I felt was tightness. Everything healed perfectly and I have no issues at all, my scars are also very tiny and fading more every day. I cannot recommend Dr Ghavami enough, he has changed my life so much and I am just so happy I went with him as it was honestly the easiest thing I have ever done. Thank you to Sadaf, the ladies who helped me on the morning of the surgery and Dr Ghavami for giving me the best looking boobs ever! Highest Regards, Frances :)
Like many people of Indian origin, I had a large bulbous nose. I was self-conscious because the nose took away from my face symmetry - the rest of my face was prettier when compared with my big jarring nose. It seemed like a very risky decision going all the way and spending all that money. Dr. Ghavami has exceeded all expectations, I was prepared for something to go wrong but everything went smoothly and the results are fantastic. Dr. is the most skilled plastic surgeon I could've found. His knowledge of my nose structure and his understanding of aesthetics is of the highest standard of excellence, it seems he is gifted. The change is very subtle, yet the bulbousness is gone! My nose fits in with my face and I feel self confident. I am extremely pleased, I believe in sensibly done plastic surgery thanks to Dr. Ghavami!
You have a common concern of a lot of patients. If you trusted your surgeon to have surgery with him/her, it is always best to discuss this with him/her and continue to raise your concerns. Two weeks is very early to judge anything as swelling can be different day to day and week to week. Some days it might look good/straight, others not so much. The roller coaster of swelling as I like to call it, should be more stable by about 3 months when you and your surgeon can assess the true situation a lot better.Good luck to you in your healing and be positive. The below video shows tip stability at the stable point in the post-operative phase.Warmest RegardsDr GhavamiExecutive Board Member: The Rhinoplasty Society(R)
Even though you have provided your weight and height, it is still difficult to give an estimate of range of volume of fat graft able to be attained. There are many factors:1. Density of fat cells you have. Some patients have loose sparse fat, especially those who have lost weight and have loose skin as well. Patients with denser fatty tissue yield more fat cells, so even in someone who appears small, a lot of fat can be taken if the surgeon is appropriately aggressive, yet safe in removing it. 2. How much is the capacity of your buttock tissue to accept fat? Some patients have tight tissue and after injecting a certain amount, the buttock becomes tense and fat actually starts shooting out of the incisions. Your surgeon needs to have experience to know what your body is capable of taking as far as volume. This is not a "my volume is bigger than yours" contest. The tighter the pressure in the buttock, the more fat will actually die off and not survive!3. With my vast experience in BBLs and lecturing along side world experts in all the expert panels I have sat on , most "true" experts would say that a range of 30% to maximum 50% of the volume of fat and fluid removed is actually usable for injection. Therefore, if 5 liters of liposution "aspirate" is removed then an approximate maximum of 2500 cc is available for injection. However, more often than not, 30% or so is more likely, which would give 1500 cc total from 5 liters of aspirate removed. That would give about 750 cc for each side. If a surgeon injects too much water/saline solution then the volume will be artificially fluffed up to give you a number of cc/s that is not actually mostly fat, but water. This is a bit of an unfortunate trick to make you think that there is more fat being placed since the number of cc's is artificially inflated (with more solution than necessary). Therefore, be careful and do your homework. Use your instincts to sift through what you see and read on the internet to select a surgeon that appears ethical, honest, and represents his/her work fairly. Be careful of camera tricks and look carefully at the photo galleries.Good luck. Below are gallery links and a video to help you see what possibilities exist in a wide range of body types, fat density ratios, etc. The video is a bit graphic but more are available in the video gallery.Warmest RegardsDr GhavamiExperienced BBL surgeon, lecturer, and BBL surgeon for over 7 years.
I have seen patients with that weight to height ratio have enough fat to make a visual difference. May times, in even smaller figure, a little fat when placed in the right location and with proper technique can go a long way.Be wary of doctors promising high volumes however as that is unrealistic. It is worth you having a consult or three to determine what surgeon can give you enough improvement to where you get the best results you possible can. When this little fat is available, you want to make sure your first shot at it is likely your last shot and gives you proper shaping and as much volume as you desire and can possibly get.Below is a link to a large variety of before afters that give you an idea of different buttock sizes and shapes in almost every wieght height ratio.
Great question and sorry for your unhappiness but you should be positive and hopeful as it is a bit too early to judge the final result. Breast implants and lifts take at least 6 months to settle and look just right. If at that time, they do not, you should talk to your original surgeon and see what options he/she has for you. We are all always interested to revise any of our patients and do the best we can for them.Surgery does not always go exactly how you or the surgeon wanted, 100% of the time This is just a fact of life and any medical treatment. The key is to stay positive and talk to whoever your surgeon is. If he is an ethical, honest, board certified surgeon, I am sure he will have options for you to attempt further correction. It is also OK , after talking to your surgeon to get other opinions, if that is what you require to be comfortable. However, I always tell patients to stay away from any surgeon quick to bad mouth a colleague with words or indirect body language. These types of personalities may not have your best interests in mind then or ever. Good luck to you.Dr Ghavami
The number one way to prevent stretch marks is to make sure that the implant selected is not too big for your tissue thickness, stretchability, as well as your overall breast/chest dimensions.I perform a very specific 5 point measuring system to determine the best size. This also includes the measure of your breast tissues capability for stretch. In addition to this, once you get a breast augmentation, it is important to lubricate with lotion etc. as soon as your doctor gives the ok.Best of LuckDr Ghavami
