WORTH IT$5,100
Ok, I have gathered the nerve to draft my review again, lol. Yesterday, I was about to submit my review that I had spent some time drafting and editing, only for it to be lost on the review page(I didn't refresh nor did I go back). I will suggest to use a Notes App or Word doc. just in case. Moving along...
I am married with 3 children (twins and a 7 month old) and cannot wait to be transformed. I am tired of still looking pregnant.  I got diastasis recti with hernia after my twins, and no ab workout will fix these over stretched ab muscles. We are done with having more kids, and my awesome hardworking husband will be treating me with this gift. I have decided to have my surgery in the Dominican because I like the bbl results I've seen compared to what I've seen done by plastic surgeons in the US, so I really need to have this done right the first time around and no bbl revision for me.
Yesterday, I arrived to Santiago, DR because I chose Rodrigo EscobarJaramillo, MD as my plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck and Brazilian butt lift with liposuction. He quoted me $5100 which includes (and I quote)...
" Included
One day at clinic
Surgery room
Fees
Anesthesia
Garment
Checks ".
Note: $250 extra for labs and cardio test. Also, 2000 pesos for consultation (Don't worry about exchange, his assistant takes you to the hospital bank).
Besides him being board certified and his work, some other reasons why I chose him is that first and foremost, he conducts his surgery at an actual hospital (He practices at HOMS hospital in Santiago). He also maintains ISAPS and ASPS memberships. Secondly, he did not seem to be money hungry and didn't require a deposit from me. So, I traveled with all my coins and brought $1000 extra cushion just in case. Another thing is that our email communication was great and he thoroughly answered all of my questions no matter what time of the day or night it was.
I will be staying in the DR for 12 days, and during the first week I am staying at Parci's House who my doctor's assistant recommended. It is her home and I recommended if you want to experience Dominican culture and get homecooked Dominican meals. Her house is pretty updated (nice remodeled kitchen). I have an air-conditioned large room with a king size bed and an updated en suite bathroom. The room also has a Samsung smart tv. Here are the costs:
$75/night
$27 airport pickup
$14 roundtrip transport to doctor
$41 overnight nurse
$25/lymphatic massage (pay as you go).
After arriving to her home, I paid her $607 upfront. I brought my own supplies because she doesn't provide any. Here is MY list of supplies:

Fanny pack (divide money and put into 3 envelopes)--"Parci", "HOMS", and "Notes" (extra money)?

Disregard the 2000 pesos as that was a part of the $250.

omg! This is one of the best reviews I've read and you look great! How are you feeling? Any complications?
Is it $75 a night plus $41 a night for the nurse? How many times did you get a massage?

Thank you! I feel great and no complications. I wear my faja now about 8-12 hrs a day, although I skipped today. Sometimes I may feel my body swelling (I get tingling sensations mainly on my back from lipo) and I'll put it back on. Honesty, I don't even remember paying a nurse fee. You stay in the hospital for 1-2 (I can't remember) days and nurses take care of you there. You also wear leg massagers while in the hospital, so you don't have to worry about moving around. At the RH, I used a walker and was taken care of very well. It is $75/night, and $25/massage. I paid for 5 painful (but worth it) massages while I was there. I almost passed out on the third one because I barely ate that morning because I was so excited that my husband was arriving in the country, so it's very important that you eat because you will have excess nutritious fluid drained from the massages. So due to the pain, I got nauseous and my sugar was low after drainage. They gave me sugar water and I bounced back.

You're welcome! Yes, I am still happy with my results. I also still wear my faja under dresses to give me a flawless look. I will upload a 3 month pic of me in a dress.
