3 months post op BBL and lipo to back/ abdomen with Dr. Chang. The pre op was with an assistant, who was picking the dirt out of her nails and watching tv, clearly hated helping me. She was annoyed with everything and rolled her eyes with everything even when I stated I specifically flew in early to consult with the Dr. She said the dr was not available to meet with me prior to surgery. I specifically flew in 2 days early to meet him and discuss surgery. I asked for my money back. This is the first person I met with besides paying my surgery first of course. They have you pay before you go back. The assistant said it’s non refundable and not customary to have a surgical consult prior to surgery. Ummmm what? And no one else to talk to. I should have walked away then but I had already invested so much at that point. The recovery home, the flights, time off work, etc. they would not refund me!! I just cried while the assistant flicked the dirt off of her nails and said “so I have other people to see”
Horrible results. Horrible recovery. Horrible process. I am misshapen, lumps, uneven skin everywhere, including the uneven and very dimpled buttocks. Some areas missing fat and not at all shaped!! The buttock shape is the exact same I went into surgery with but with added dimples everywhere. My stomach looks disgusting. Not at all the contoured abdomen, back bra fat removal, or booty lift I wanted. Staff was terrible as Spanish speaking made it very hard/difficult to communicate as I speak English. The Customer service may be the worst I have yet to experience in any aspect. Emails and calls went without a response still.... 3 months post!! 1 appointment post to remove drains before I let Miami. I was so sick and couldn’t stand. I won’t go into all the details of my post procedure recovery. But I am still sick!! Blood transfusion, infection, etc. No post care given by Dr Chang past pulling out the drain. No call, no request of photos, no how are you recovering, no these are the steps to follow.. nothing... nada. The non dissolving sutures were forgotten all around my body, not removed at my one under 5 minute drain removal. The sutures tore my skin as The holes closed up, as they did not dissolve. No post care given. Zero after care. No follow up. Had a terrible experience with side effects. I had to find a surgeon in my home town to remove the sutures after a couple months of pain. The waiting room chairs and floors are covered in body fluids, the wait time for surgery was 6+ hours past my “given” time. I waited in the disgusting waiting room for the entire time, watching people sit on chairs covered in the previous persons fluids. Not one person came around to clean. Maybe around 30 women, some with multiple children in toe, friends, spouses all sitting on someone else’s body fluids came in while I was there. Fast turn over but a lot in pain, throwing up, leaking fluids, walking around leaking everywhere. The front desk watches the fluids spill and does nothing. Not sure how they got scheduled follow ups??? I was told my wait was because I wanted to meet the dr before surgery, I would have to be the last surgery of the day. No consult, just meet when going into anesthesia. The BEST part ... Miami does not make the Drs carry malpractice. Yup! You sign this paper walking into surgery!!!! Literally as you have paid everything, waited for your surgery time, changed into your gown, and all going into surgery you are taken into a side table and told to sign the waiver of knowing no malpractice insurance if you are injured or die!!! Some assistant you have not met or spoken with. The paperwork for no malpractice was all done minutes before my surgery.... not at the “pre op”, not when you pay the FULL non refundable amount... minutes before surgery!!!! The front desk gives the mother in law of the owner and practicing Dr. as the “best” recovery home. Even though they have been shut down prior, under another name and reopened in different name. Left me for hours on end, alone, not in my faja as I had peered on myself multiply times, the entire stay I was there.Took my medication, anddddd the food was sandwiches and Mac n cheese, frozen chicken nuggets. Not what you want when recovering from such a large surgery. So be careful when they recommend the “best” recovery home to you!!! The overall experience made me never want another surgical procedure. I thought I was going to die. I had post surgery complications, and still do. Please consider more than the cost when scheduling something as dangerous as a bbl. Why risk so much when the fat does not even stay if administered poorly, removed poorly as mine did not stay at 3 months. The website says Dr. Chang is a board certified plastic surgeon, but on here And under his license it says he is an “eligible” plastic surgeon. That means he is NOT a plastic surgeon!!!! Please do not trust their website!! Do your homework. The whole experience was miserable. Not my first plastic surgery but made the others feel like a vacation. I actually called the last surgeon I received a breast lift with ( who unfortunately does not do BBLs ) and thanked him and his staff for such an amazing experience compared to this. I wish I had never believed their IG photos or stories. It’s all fake. Along with the “ plastic surgoen” who did my procedure.

Wow, sooo sorry you had to experience that. Would you mind sharing pictures. Dr. Chang did my BBL and I am 2wks Post Op. My experience with him was totally opposite to include my encounter with the front desk staff and the RN's and MA's.
