Great Results, but Poor Aftercare

Great Results, but Poor Aftercare

$4,900
I initially had a great experience with Dr. Mora & his assistant up until 10 days PO. When I got to the facility, I paid about $4900 for everything. My initial quote included 360 lipo & BBL + arms, inner thigh & chin. I paid the deposit via bank transfer. Everything went well, until I woke up. I could not feel my legs at ALL. I tried to move them & they would flop around uncontrollably. Told the assistant, no text from Dr. Mora. Days later, I'm released and can walk, but still numb on my calves & feet to this day (15 DPO). Come time for my post op appointment, I saw a girl get there before me & she went in his office to sit down & talk. The most I got was Hi, how are you? "Good" , then i was sent off to a clinic to get a 20 minute ultrasound massage on my lower back. He never looked at my body, if he did, he would've known I got a burn and prescribed me something. I have sickle cell trait, so I am prone to burns, as I was told. I am not upset about the burn, I am upset that his anesthesiologist couldn't do her job right & messed up the nerves in my legs & feet. I didn't want an epidural, yet it was forced on me last minute. Fast forward to 10 days PO , I get a text from Dr. Mora's assistant that my deposit "didn't go through" . Why am I hearing this 2 days before I am about to leave the country? She is asking that I come by for another "follow up" and bring $400. I declined. I finally get a text from Dr. Mora, my first one! Clearly he only cares about getting $400 from me. I delete his message without a response. They didn't get another dime for me after being so negligent with my after care. I love my results, I just don't love who they came from. And that's unfortunate, because I chose him based off of people saying he cared about his patients.

Yes , I did. The assistant said she would tell doctor Mora, but I doubt it because I never got a whatsapp from him about my nerves

Your first pic is amazing!! Looks like good work...how about all areas of the liposuction?! All smooth or ripples??
July 25, 2020
All smooth! I only get ripples when I got long without a massage. I had one yesterday & my stomach is smoothing out already. I'm on a 3x a week massage schedule until 6 weeks PO

Ouch! So sorry you went through that. It's weird about the sickle cell trait because I have it as well and I'm today on day 12 of bbl and lipo360 and I had no bruises nevertheless a burned, so look into that IF they were the ones that told you about the burns. I used to get epidurals every 2months because I have spinal stenosis and NEVER did my legs go numb, in fact, I used to drive to and from the epidural appointments and no problem. I REALLY do hope and pray you're doing fine now and that it wouldn't affect you in the future. Btw, you look amazing, he did do an awesome job!

Yeah that's what they told me, kind of odd. The burn doesn't hurt so it's not really a bother. My feet and ankles still have a tight tingly numb feeling. I talked with my PCM and he's prescribing nerve medication to be on for 3 months.

Hmmm?!? Never heard of that before but IM SO HAPPY there's a solution to the tingling numb feeling in your ankles. I really do hope it works and you have no more to do but to rock that awesome body! Great luck in your journey!! Everything will be perfectly fine ;-)

Hey ladies my sister has Sickle Cell Anemia, and has a crisis every 3-6 months. Do yall just have the trait or the full disease? She wants a BBL soooooo bad, but im scared for her to get one.

I have about 46% of the SC Trait , so it’s more of the trait, less of the disease. I don’t have crisis often, maybe because when I was 5 I got my spleen removed.
