Do not give them your money

I don’t typically take time to write reviews unless I have an extremely great, or just awful experience so I am going to be completely honest. Despite some of the bad articles and reviews I read about Mcadoo, I chose him as my doctor because I liked his work. I paid my deposit and scheduled my surgery for December 11th. I arrived in Miami the morning before my surgery so I could complete my labs and prepare myself. In the contracts, it is recommended you do your labs prior to arrival. I decided to wait because I am pretty healthy and never had any health issues. Had I known it would have pushed my surgery back a day, I would have done it beforehand. Ok, that was my fault. After my labs were completed, Mcadoo wanted me to do an MRI because I previously had hydrogel injections which I understand. I appreciate his concern as a provider and taking precautions. The MRI cost me a few hundred dollars and pushed my surgery back another day, fine. Again, this was my fault. However, nowhere in the contracts did it say I couldn’t have surgery if I had prior injections and I know several girls who had injections and successful BBL’s. The morning of my new surgery date (2 days later), Mcadoo says he can’t do the fat transfer and cancelled my surgery. At this point I’m devastated, exhausted and ready to be home as I’ve spent 1k+ in labs, MRI’s and other tests that none of the places they sent me to accepted insurance. Two months later, I have yet to receive a refund. Mcadoo as a doctor himself is not terrible, but his staff and the unprofessionalism is what is causing me to leave this review amongst others. His assistant, Kandice gave me the run around for an entire month. Negligent is responding to messages, phone calls, etc. telling me she was working on a “better deal” to make sure I get the refund I deserve. Bs. Over a month later, tries to tell me they are going to take $2500 from my money instead of the $1000 which is a breach of contract. I had my Texas lawyer look into all the paperwork I signed and he has agreed that they are not honoring the proper refund, and therefore I have filed a complaint with the District Attorneys office in South Florida. DO NOT pay cash in the case something comes up whether your fault or not, because they will hold your money and try to give you less than what you deserve after giving you the run around. THEY DID NOTHING FOR ME-I GOT NOTHING DONE! Almost $6000 of my hard earned money is held up in this mess and on top of that, this has caused major inconveniences in my life and stressed me out. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone. Save your money for people who do honest business and actually care, because this is not the case here. Once they have your money they don’t care about you and good luck getting it back!
