My surgery back in 2019 and here we are in 2023.
4 years later and 2 children later.
I really urge whoever reading this to seriously consider if this is the right thing to do. In the moment it was definitely something I wanted to do. However, 4 years later and 2 children later I have sagging and drooping. My thighs do not match the size of my bum. Remembering specifically I had asked NOT to have a kim k bum has all come full circle. I've lost an insane amount of weight I am 5'4 and weigh 130lbs. The shelf is basically gone and my bum sags. There is a clear divide in bum and leg LOL. Honestly, I remember aside from the lump I had on my stomach 6 months post op I remember looking amazing and at the time my thighs matched my bum however, now having lost the weight it just doesn't look right anymore. Also, 6 months post op I WAS STILL SWOLLEN. My side profile now is absolutely horrid. My resolution for this year is to hit the gym and get some massive thighs LOLOL wish me luck and please please please ladies!!!!! do your research. Even now I recommend people go to doctors in their hometown if their truly serious. In this case I went for quantity over quality, please don't do this. If you don't have the money to get it done where you live I would seriously recommend reconsidering the surgery. You might thank me later. Also research the doctor and look at negative reviews first. It may change your mind for the better.

Do Not Go to This Doctor
Do not go to this doctor. He does way too many procedures in a day, plus seems to rush everything.
I flew to Miami Internationally and had a pretty decentISH experience with the nurses, reception, and staff. I was told to arrive at the clinic at 9 AM.... what I didn't realize is that I had to sit there until 5 or 6pm maybe even longer (I did this procedure back in 2019). Luckily I had my phone to keep me occupied along with no charger! haha. I think one nurse came to check on me once the whole time I was sitting in the room. When I finally got to meet Dr. Salama he seemed very cocky and uninterested. He barely said two words just jotting down notes in his files from a previous patient. After standing there awkwardly quiet completely naked I decided to show him a picture of the shape and size I was interested in. I told him I DIDN'T want to look like Kim K because that would be way too much. I just wanted more of a shelf with a heart shape. After seeming uninterested and nodding his head he started marking me up. No extra questions or comments in regards to what I asked for just kind of went right into how the procedure was going to go and the after-care. We did engage in small talk while he was jotting notes down I asked him if it was a busy day (seeing as though I waited for hours when my procedure was supposed to be at 10 AM) he said it was a long day with 3 or 4 procedures before mine.
I would say my recovery went fine for me my scarring healed okay 2 years later however, the scars are still visible especially my pelvic region where drainage was. My stomach was lipoed and left lumpy and bumpy. I even have a bump under my skin where my ribs are from how aggressively I was lipoed it left permanent scar tissue inside my body creating a lump to form on the outside as well. My bum is an okay size now but a year out it still looked so huge definitely was a replica of a Kim k bum. What I told him I didn't want. I lost weight though luckily and lost some of that fat thankfully. However, the lumps and bumps are still on my stomach and my bum doesn't match my legs still.
