There needs to be a new word for botched...because this is it! Happened in 2016 but won't let me post that date.
I wanted a cute little body after I had gotten out of shape. My breasts needed a lift from a rather large implant size (DD) in 2007 (the Dr did a fabulous job for that surgery). I went in to see Dr C. Mendieta in Miami. He seemed to be experienced and confident. His reviews were decent. After the consultation I decided on a breast lift, new implants (of a smaller size), and a BBL. I was thrilled to get these procedures done. He said he could do them all at once.
I wasn't aware after a BBL you were supposed to stay off your butt. I assumed a Dr with his vast experience (he was named the butt Dr) that I was in good hands. No one told me you were supposed to stay off your butt. How was I supposed to do that if my breast were being reconstructed basically. And I couldn't be on them so my only option was to lay face up being on the side was too painful from the lipo and the breasts just hanging there. My butt basically went away within 4 months. My breasts look like someone butchered them. The scarring is an eye sore. The best part for last is he sewed my breast incorrectly and some of my areola is intact under my new nipple that was created (see photo). I'm embarrassed when I have exams or to even be naked around my husband. The experience was a complete nightmare $17,000 later. I waited to write this because I was so ashamed and honestly scared. I want other women to know what they are dealing with and the shame and embarrassment of possibly choosing this Dr. If he is the one who actually did the surgery (I was under so I have no idea).
