Hey dolls, I am scheduled for my surgery at Pure Plastics in MIA with Dr. Earle on 12/04/19. I was instructed to lose 15lbs before my surgery (weight 190, height 5'2) , I still have over a month to go and 5lbs to lose (weight for surgery 175lbs). The closer I get to the date I am getting so excited so I decided to share my journey with you dolls.

Cleared for surgery

Hello dolls, so I had my pre op appointment exactly 30 days before surgery. Pure Plastics did not send me the form to be completed by the doctor until I was already at my appointment, so I was not able to print and give to the doctor at the time of my appointment. Due to this inconvenience , it caused me to have to back track and hunt down the doctor to complete. (My primary physician does not do pre admission, and this was communicated to Pure Plastics) After 2 weeks of stressing if I will meet the deadline, I have finally been cleared for surgery. My communication with Pure Plastics has been a little shaky in the beginning but then I got a new coordinator and communication has improved. With 2 weeks to, I am down 12lbs and only have 3 lbs left to lose. It is so important to begin taking iron ASAP and Vit. C to help absorb the iron to make sure you will not have any issues with your iron levels.

In the 1st month, I cut out fast food, soda, and sweets. 2nd month, I began calorie counting and took in 800-1000 per day. (I did allow myself 1 cheat day a week) For the last month I added in exercise.

What would you recommend to others so that they do not have the same problem with their paperwork?

I’m here in Miami, staying at Recovery House Just For You and all the ladies staying here are awesome. The recovery house is nice but there has been a bit of false advertisement. Once my stay is over, I will be doing a full YouTube review on the recovery house.
