WORTH IT
Dr.Yew is unbeatable...for real. I'm a little scared of needles, but he will work with you to keep your mind away from all of that while you get your treatments with meditation, mind exercises etc. I think what sets him apart from other health professionals is that it's like visiting a friend or mentor. I'm sure we've all visited a doctor that felt cold or rushed, but you'll be treated right if you go to Dr. Yew. Because of that I won't go anywhere else for my botox TMJ treatments.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm very thankful for the kind review.

Update on almost one year of injections

You can see at the beginning of 2020 my face was starting to grow into a boxy shape. It didn't look that bad, but would continue to protrude further to the sides because of my overactive masseters. Note that the left picture also is a full face of makeup with contour done to make my face appear slimmer, and the right is with no makeup at all. I actually get my masseters injected mostly for TMJ pain, but this after looking at these pictures I'm happy with how much softer my jaw looks.

I thought Botox was supposed to pass after 6 months? Did you redo it? And how many units per side?

Back for my 3 Month Check Up!

Exquisite751002

I got my masseter botox for TMJ three months ago. Yesterday, due to work stress I was in DEBILITATING pain and my treatment had been wearing off...I called the office and they were so kind to me. They were able to squeeze me in because my jaw hurt so badly (Thank you Jackie and Mary!)

If you're afraid of needles or anything uncomfortable, don't worry. The office is a completely safe and non-judgmental space. I also got my "11" line treatment and it REALLY helps. I'll leave pictures here in another three months when it starts wearing off so you can see the difference! Like I said in my last review, if you're skeptical just schedule a consult with the doctor and you'll know what I mean.
