Botched
I had Botox June 2018 from Cyndi, first time with her because doctor Almonte was out of the country. I told her dr Almonte had put 30 units in 5 months prior and that I don’t need much just the L lines. Before going to dr Almonte the last time I had Botox was a year prior and have had it a total of 5 times. Once a year treatments for the L lines. Cyndi suggested 20 units. I asked if she was going to take a before picture she said no I don’t need to.She had me sit in the chair with it tilted back and my feet. She Asked me to squint, which I thought she would be looking at my muscles and start the consultation/evaluation asking me what my concerns were and where I wanted it. Instead, She injected me 2 high in my forehead, which hurt really bad I asked her if I should be sitting up and her looking at me straight on instead of injecting me from the right side. She said no she could see just fine. She proceeded to inject one in the middle of my eyes/ eyebrow, then 4 injections low going across my eyebrow on each side. Then two low in the nasal area.Once done I looked in the mirror and all injection sites were red and swollen. I said omg what happened? She said oh maybe it was the needle, that they were out of the small needles. Then I told her that all the areas she put it, I’ve never had done before. That they were in my eyebrow area and I asked is this going to drop my face. She said no.The next day my eyelids were swollen, I had a bruise high on my forehead and I could barely move my forehead. I called the office she was out of town. She messaged me from where she was and asked me to sent her a picture so I did. She said she wasn’t sure what happened and that she’d see me when she got back. So I did and she looked nervous and said I’m sorry. I’ve done this to myself and dropped my eyebrows but after 4-6 weeks it went back. She kept assuring me that it was only temporary and that I was young with good skin I had nothing to worry about.Just a matter of days after the injections I had developed new wrinkles, drooped eyebrows and serve itching, prickling, tingling, burning and bumps in my forehead, temple, and eye area. At that appointment, she asked me to text her instead of calling the clinic because she could respond quicker. They scheduled an appointment for me to see doctor Almonte when he got back.He has seen me, he evaluated me and said that everything will go back to normal, I had good skin just needed to let the Botox wear off and for my symptoms that it could be an allergic reaction and that would go away too. So I would update Cyndi with my symptoms and new symptoms. Her reply was, It will all go back to normal once the Botox wears off. My skin kept getting worse started to sag and my face was becoming more lopsided. She would say that all will return to normal.I went in again and brought my husband. I have seen both Dr. Almonte and Cyndi they said that maybe I need more time for things to go back to normal and said they’d see me again 3 months later. Cyndi barely looked at me. Next appointment I was alone and I still had all my symptoms still plus my face looked worse. Dr. Almonte said my skin was bad, saggy and that I will need a facelift soon, he was very rude and made me cry. No one took ownership that Cyndi messed my face up. They scheduled me another follow-up appointment for my 1yr mark but I canceled it because of how he treated me the prior appointment, I knew he wasn’t going to say anything or offer any help.My face has aged 5-8 years in a matter of months and we are in 2020 and it has not gotten better it is worse and I’m so embarrassed to be in public. I’m bedridden 3/4 days out of the week with excruciating pain in my face, head and neck muscles and still have all the bad symptoms, swelling, tingling, prickling, itching, blurred eyesight dropping, lopsided face, and jowls. I’m only in my thirties. My skin was good before Cyndi ruined it. I’ve been to multiple doctors with no relief and no answers. Please be careful of going to this place. I’m hoping that after Cyndi was so careless with my face that she is now doing full consultations and evaluating all her patients carefully!
