I went back to Dr. Numa in Boston who does my botox. He did such a good job that I trusted him enough to go to him about getting filler. I am 27 years old and because of many years of smoking, tanning and weight loss, I found that my face was looking a little drawn and my under eyes were bothering me a lot. I was very scared for filler and wasn't sure if I was even going to go through with it. I explained to Dr. Numa what my concerns were and what I wanted. Instead of getting the filler under my eyes (which I thought I was going to) he recommenede that I get it in my cheeks, which would add the volume back to my face as well as help improve my under eyes. It didn't hurt at all!!! I had no bruising (since I stopped taking and tylenol or ibuprofen a week or so prior) I really love it!! I just went back today for my follow up and I had him add a little in my nasolabia folds. He is amazing and really is skilled at what he does!!! My cheeks are a little sore, nothing that is bothering me too much and I explained that to him today and he told me its pretty normal and just because I don't see any topical bruising, doesn't mean that I don't have bruising deeper. He really is the best and never pushes anything on you. He always listens o what you want and delivers every time. I always enter and exit his office feeling happy and confident!!! I wish I had done this sooner.

Your results are beautiful!! I'm considering doing my folds.... I had a friend who did hers, though, and she said she didn't really like it because it made her mouth move strangely, especially when she smiled. So I am a little cautious. But! I thought I would ask - your results are awesome - have you noticed anything like that?? :-)

I love it! I wish i did it earlier because my folds have bothered me for a long time. I like to wear makeup and I was always buffing the make up which would clump up in my folds and looked gross. This is only the second day and I haven't noticed anything strange (I'm just a little sore) But i have no bruising or anything. It might be a little swollen, but only noticeable to me. make sure you go to someone whose board certified plastic surgeon and knows what their doing. if you're in the Boston area, I obviously recommend Dr. Numa.

I'm not, but thanks. I was pretty sure I wanted to do it until a friend of mine said she just didn't like it because it felt a little weird....I think I'm going to go through with it because my lines are almost just like that and your result is what I'm after! lol. Thanks

yeah and if you get it done and don't like it, they can put that stuff (i forgot what its called) in to dissolve it.

Wow, I've never seen this...filling the cheeks to remove under eye hollows. What an amazing outcome. In a million years I would have not noticed anything on your face b/c you are so stunning, but looking at the before and afters, I can see how you looking at you would notice. Thanks so much for sharing your story and pics!

I'm your age and have the exact same thing going on in your befores even though I wear sunscreen and don't smoke. Man your transformation is stunning though--do you know how long it's supposed to last? I'm in LA but wish I could see Dr. Numa...

I live a thousand miles away and am half tempted to see Dr. Numa JUST based on your results! You look amazing. I'm struggling with the same thing, former smoker and now on a Paleo diet which has caused a permanent weight loss. YOU LOOK AAAAAMAZING! :)
