I had forehead reduction, cheek implants, lip lift, neck lift, trach shave, and rhinoplasty. I love the cheek implants the most and I went with the larger ones. They are extremely feminizing, especially when I smile. I think if I was going to do just one thing I would have done the forehead though, it is just so masculinizing. The lip lift and rhinoplasty I think really complete the whole package, but I probably would have been fine without them. I am still really happy I got them though and would definitely get all the same procedures if I was to do it again. I may have even got a few more like a jaw shaving or something. However I am very happy going with Dr. Spiegal's recommendation.

The necklift I got was mainly because I have what I like to call a "fish neck", this isn't really a masculinizing feature but I have hated it all my life. It is very nice to have a chin now.

Seriously amazing! We actually have a whole community dedicated to tracheal shave, would you consider sharing a separate review and tell us more about that procedure? You have eyebrows to kill for, I'm jealous! Just curious, do you have any makeup on in either of your photos?

I am wearing makeup in both of these photos, still have some of that pesky facial hair

How do you currently treat your facial hair? Have you ever considered electrolysis?

I have been doing electrolysis for about a year but my hair has been very resilient. I was on a four month hiatus followings surgery so it seems darker than it use to be.

Facial hair is so frustrating!  We have a whole community dedicated to electrolysis if you're up to sharing your experience by writing another review -- here's a link for you.

Excuse me but I just cant tell anymore from pics especially, but what was your sex at birth? female or male?
August 10, 2016
Does it matter? :O

Just a question, no need to be offended by it. Would be good for others to know whether or not this surgery was done to make you more feminine as a female, or if the change was from a male to female. It'll just help people with their decisions as well.

Thats fair, I was assigned male at birth. :D

Great job! Beautiful forehead, sweetie!

You look absolutely gorgeous! I've been contemplating Dr. Spiegel because of the amazing reviews plus I live in NH so it's not much of a commute. Did you get all of these procedures done at the same time? I think you're right about the forehead. (I'm scared of this because my hair is so thin and sparse, so can you talk about what that was like, the healing, the scar, etc.?)

You look beautiful, and your face is so well-balanced. What is "fish neck?" I have a weak chin so it looks like my chin just slopes right into my neck, no jaw, no definition, just what's called a "weak jaw." It's very aging. So I'm curious what you were working with before surgery (can't quite tell in your before photo).

Congrats! And thank you for sharing.

Sounds like you my have some fish neck as well :P, I wish I had side photos before and after to show you. He can take it back but the limitation is the tongue, it is will a very impressive change and one I am very happy with.

I did have all of the procedures done at the same time, the first week really sucks, I had to sleep elevated and on my back. I think the worst part for me was the nose, it leaked a lot of blood. I still think it was totally worth it, but I had my grandfather there to take care of me in the hotel. I only had to spend one night in the hospital and I was discharged the next morning.

Scar wise I think I have done pretty well even though I am a compulsive picker, he does the scalp advancement very jagged so you can barely see it at all.

You're totally right about the jaw and tongue. I'm actually getting my upper and lower teeth redone to try and "open my mouth" (vertical height), with lengthening and angle. My chin just slopes into my neck (the closest famous person I can think of that's similar is Marilyn Manson). But when I use my hands to pull the skin back I can feel like I'm choking, and it's my tongue. And when I press my tongue into the roof of my mouth, my gullet/throat bulges out.

I've been afraid of the neck lift exactly for this reason! I've seen so many people get lift who already have a chin/jaw, but I never fit into that category. I originally wanted to see Dr. Spiegel for the lip lift (again trying to offset my chin). I didn't think much could be done.

If you come across any profile views of yours I'd love to see for comparison. I've been so wary because I've not seen success with my type of chin. You're giving me some more hope!
