BodyTite Ruined my Arms

I wanted to do Profound on my upper outer thighs where I have unevenness and on the back of my arms where I had some sagging. The loose skin on the back of my arms was not bad. I have always been slim with slim arms and have exercised and done arm weights for the last 30 years. I look 15 years younger than I am, but my arms were never tight in the back, although the front was pretty defined. I researched doctors around Atlanta. Dr. Arslanian not only was one of few who did Profound, but his website showed amazing beautiful pictures of his previous work. He also had excellent reviews in Google and RealSelf which made me feel comfortable and trust him. He explained that the two areas (thighs and arms) were too large for Profound because it is done with anesthetic injections and that it would be very expensive and would have to be done in several sessions. He also said that I would have better results with BodyTite, although he emphasized that due of the laxity of my skin because of my age, the result would not be perfect. I understood that. I was not expecting to have adolescent arms, just a little tighter. Actually, that was why I was not sure about BodyTite. I knew that it involved some liposuction and I did not have a lot of fat in my arms to begin with. Also, I was 69 and I felt that liposuction at my age would probably leave more loose skin. But I let myself be convinced by the doctor to do BodyTite. The price for the BodyTite on the back of my arms, the upper outer thighs and the bra rolls was $15, 250.00. When I went home I realized that the price of Profound could not be higher than BodyTite's because it required a surgical room, general anesthesia and $1,000.00 for the BodyTite machine rental. So I emailed the surgical coordinator to let the doctor know that I really wanted to do Profound. She wrote me back that Dr Arslanian still felt that I would have better results with BodyTite, so I went ahead with it. It has been more than a year since the procedure (October 2022). The result is that my arms are ruined. My left arm is different from the right because too much fat was taken and the back of the arm is caved in from the shoulder down about four inches. Both arms have puckering, lumps and depressions in the back. They are not smooth and they look horrible and different. I have not been able to wear a sleeveless dress or a tank top since the procedure and I will never be able again because I'm embarrassed to show my upper arms. Before the procedure my arms were a little loose in the back, but they were even, looked the same and I was comfortable showing them. I was vain and I wanted tighter back arms. My thighs are still uneven and look about the same as before. The bra rolls came out alright. I regret with all my heart having done this to my arms. The worst part is that, after consulting with a couple of doctors, nothing can be done to remedy my arms, short of a surgery. I do not want to have scars on my upper arms, that is why I wanted Profound. I write this review to warn other ladies in my age range who have nice arms but want tighter arms. Do not make my same mistake. Maybe Profound will not make your arms very tight and could be a waste of money, but it will not ruin your arms.
