Look no further - I’m a new person inside and out
Look No Further
First, I want to address the elephant in the room with cosmetic surgery. I’m not sure why it’s called cosmetic surgery. It’s the farthest thing from cosmetics in my mind. It should be called something more normalizing, like just healthcare. Dr Agha takes care of your body and your mind, according to what you know will make you feel better and move through life as a better human being. There’s a concept.
Now I’m speaking from my own experience as a reasonably well-adjusted person. I’m not a TV star or anyone else who might normally care about what other people think about me or my body. However, modern society is such that media influences day-to-day life to the point that we judge ourselves against what we see most of as “normal” or worse, “perfect.” There aren’t a lot of us, real-life people being represented in the media, certainly not enough. So, it’s hard not to fall victim to these influences and therefore judge ourselves and feel like we need “correction.”
For those of us who do the emotional healing toward acceptance of our bodies for the wonders they are, as they are, can help ourselves. Maybe for some, that is enough. For those of us who can’t quite get there with just the emotional work, have more options because of the abundance of plastic surgeons in the world. However, one must be prudent in their choice of who to partner with for a physical journey of transformation. It’s as much art as it is science, and to find someone who blends the two is like finding a needle in a haystack.
After months of extensive research, I found that most plastic surgeons don’t advertise their patient results nearly enough to help you make an informed decision. It’s very difficult to get a sense of whether the surgeon is skilled with all body types, and how they interact with their patients on their individual journeys. Dr. Agha is one of the few surgeons in the world who posts photos and videos on Instagram in the abundance he does. I mean, he has hundreds and hundreds of before and afters, interviews with patients discussing their results and experiences, and educational information on body transformation. After perusing everything he has on Instagram (which took weeks to review it all), I flew to Newport Beach to have a consultation with Dr Agha. He listened to what bothered me, asked great questions, and studied my body thoroughly. He gave me honest feedback about what he could do and not do. I decided to schedule surgery on the spot.
I’m now 10 months out from my first consultation with Dr. Agha. After two surgeries (amounting to a total body lift), I’m a new person inside and out. He skillfully blends the art and science of physical change with emotional wellbeing. He acutely understands the impact that feeling beautiful and whole has on a person. He listens to your concerns with a keen intent to hear how your life is affected, not just to assess how you look. How you perceive yourself is everything. People perceive things differently and YOU are the only person who really matters. Of course, he’ll have suggestions to help guide your decision making. He has all the requisite experience and success to help you navigate your journey. Study his Instagram page and you’ll see.
I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Agha and his staff at The Aesthetic Centers. They’re all personable, highly skilled and treat you with kindness and empathy. I feel lucky to have engaged them for my journey and consider them all friends now. I think you will, too.
