No regrets - so pleased with the results of my body lift

I am so pleased with the results of my body lift done by Dr. Vath! While I wasn’t overweight, I have always been unhappy with my belly post-pregnancies and as menopause hit, the addition of little love handles - yuck! I decided to do something about it and asked friends for recommendations. Dr Vath and the Center for Cosmetic Surgery came up many times so I scheduled a consultation appointment with him. The wait was about 10 months! I took that to mean he’s very, very good, although once I decided to go for it, the wait was difficult since I’m not a patient person. The wait did give me time to check out more reviews, look at before and after photos for not just Dr. Vath and CCS but other facilities as well. Some places didn’t have any photos! Dr Vath has tons of photos posted and wow! All beautiful after photos. These photos made the wait easier! My advice for choosing a doctor is look carefully at the photos and read the reviews. Dr Vath was everything I hoped he’d be. Super nice, explained what he could and couldn’t do and why, what the procedure entailed, how it would go, what to expect for recovery, everything. He didn’t over-promise either so I knew exactly what to expect. Surgery day went according to plan. He very carefully marked me up so the results would be as perfect as possible. Recovery was just as described. I did opt for the Exparel injection and that helped with the initial pain management. I honestly thought recovery was fairly easy and used meds for about the first week, then was able to ease off. I followed every instruction and I think that made for a textbook recovery. I was up and moving right away and at my one-week visit, I got to see my belly button. It looks great and very natural. That’s an important thing to consider when choosing a doctor. Dr Vath is fantastic! My love handles and loose belly skin are gone and my belly and sides are smooth, flat and very natural-looking. The incision site is very smooth and even. Once it fades, it will hardly be noticeable. I’m about 9 weeks out and the numbness is disappearing as well. I started workouts and activities gradually and at 6 weeks was back to all my regular workouts without restrictions. Every day gets a little bit better.
