A Long Time Dream Come True....

WORTH IT$23,750
After we had our first child almost 13 years ago, I knew my body would never be the same. I gained almost 60lbs and tipped the scales at almost 200lbs upon delivery. After having three more kids and gaining to the 200lb range with each pregnancy I was left with stretched skin, hanging flab, droopy stretched marked breasts and a disgusted self image.
It was a long 13 years but I'm SO thankful to have had the opportunity to get things looking tighter and perkier. ;)
Dr. Vath was a great man to work with, results speak for themselves. I appreciated his attention to detail and have NO regrets with any part of the procedure. He was patient with me when I asked questions. He gave me different options and never steered me one way or another. I felt like his approach was rather conservative and we really appreciated that. - Conservative in that he did not push for any unnecessary procedures such as implants, lipo, etc. He was confident and that helped shape our ultimate decision.
He's a true artists and we'll be going to him again if I ever take the leap for the inner thigh lift.

I'll answer questions as asked but I'll share my personal opinion on some "must haves" that worked for me.
*My husband and I planned for our kids to be with family for 9 days so that I could do my post op and surgery (out of state) and then heal at a (nice) hotel for the next 8 days. ***This was a total game changer!!! Not being around my children and my wifely/mom/house duties accelerated the healing process. It forced me to sleep and rest endlessly making my recovery a dream. For real! -I couldn't, and wouldn't do it any differently. We still talk about how thankful we are that we spent that extra time away. -I only made it a week before I was ready to be home with our littles but that solid week helped tremendously.
*The numbing injection (the name is escaping me) I believe was a great addition. I took Valium for a few days after surgery and then transitioned easily to Tylenol and ibuprofen for pain management.
*I was excited to see the results and wanted to pull the surgical tape off of the incisions to peek at the results but I decided against that and remained patient and waited until they fell off on their own. It took about four weeks for all of the tape to come off. **My suggestion would be to leave it (the tape) be and don't try to rush the viewing process.
** ..... I'm sure I will think of some other 'must-haves' but for now these are the things that are forefront in my mind three months after surgery :)

You look great! I just had my body lift, breast lift and CO2 laser on my face on October 2, it went really well. My Dr was Dr Vath also, he’s the best. Not sure exactly what you had done with him, you didn’t really say...I mean looks like maybe a body lift and breast lift, but did you go with implants? I’m 10 days post op and can’t believe how well I feel, considering everything that I had done. Are you feeling pretty much 100% now? Where did you travel from? Cheers!

Hey! Thanks! I just checked out your pictures and think you look wonderful!!
I did go with a lower body lift and breast lift without implants.
I do have 100% of my energy back. I too couldn't believe how well I felt considering being chopped in half. ;) Hah!! I was SO glad I went all the way around. I was afraid of the pain but geesh, not even an issue.
There were days I wanted to nap more than others but for the most part I felt back to myself about a month post op. I had a couple spots on my incision that started to split so I kept applying poly ointment and covered it but at my 6wk post op Dr. Vath told me to just cover it with gauze, let it dry out and 'be done with it'. He was right. The more I kept it moist and clean the bigger the opening in the incision got... It took about two weeks for it to fully close and that area is slightly bigger than the rest but not a big deal to me. -I just wish I would've let it dry out sooner than later
I've never heard of CO2 laser. What does that do? -Looks super painful :(
Happy healing!! :):)

Thanks for your prompt reply! The CO2 laser helps with wrinkles, sun spots and overall skin texture, helps build collagen. It takes about 3/4 months to really see the full results, but you have to be very diligent about sunscreen afterwards, especially for the 1st year because your skin is so new and vulnerable. I’m very good about using sunscreen all the time because I’m a licensed esthetician and I know what sun can really do to damage skin.
