I Am Eternally Grateful to Dr. Vath

It has taken me a year to write this review as I couldn’t find the words to express my gratitude towards Dr. Vath. Before surgery I lost a total of 80 lbs. I had a lot of hanging skin around my body. I was told many times that more diet and exercise would never get rid of this skin, only surgery. I have wanted surgery for many years, but I knew I had to be done having kids. When my daughter turned 3, we decided we were one and done so I started researching surgeons. I met with 3 other surgeons in the Denver area before Dr. Vath. It is amazing how different each surgeon is and their views. I truly think that when you meet the right one you will know. I knew right away that Dr. Vath was going to be amazing. I learned a lot of things meeting with the other surgeons, so I came into my consultation with a lot of knowledge but also a lot of questions. Dr. Vath didn’t hesitate to answer any of my questions. After meeting in his office, he looked at my body and he laid it out for me pretty direct. Yes, I did need a tummy tuck but because of all the excess skin he recommended a 360-degree lower body lift. This way he would take the extra skin from my hips and my back and it would be seamless. I asked him many times if he thought I would be happy with just the tummy tuck. He said it was my decision he was just laying out the facts. One of his staff members had the same procedure and she showed me her scar. I was blown away how good it looked. In the end I decided I only wanted to do this type of surgery once, so I did the 360-degree lower body lift and breast lift. When I tell you that what Dr. Vath did for me was life changing that would be an understatement. The last year has definitely been a journey with the recovery from the initial surgery, a large wound healing, and the revision I needed. However, I wouldn’t change one thing about it. The way I live my life now is completely different. To be able to truly be comfortable in your body for the first time in your life at 40 is something I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Vath for as well as well as his nurses and office staff.
