Provider Review
I went to a few consultations and was down to two options – (1) Dr. Galanis who I viewed as the young option who is up on technology, great education/training with some great before and after pictures that matched the look I was going for and (2) another PS who is well known in my area (likely in his 70s) and had probably done a thousand of these in his lifetime and also felt like a good option. I am one who typically goes for the experienced doctor but in this case I always ended my appointments with Dr. Galanis more excited about the prospect of actually going through with the mommy makeover surgery. I am very glad I went with Dr. Galanis for a few reasons. One I think he is a great plastic surgeon with a great eye. He used inspiration pictures and our discussion to make the call on the table for implant size and he nailed it. Two – he is very accessible for answering questions and concerns along the way. The couple of times I had a question about something with my progress, I had answers within minutes whereas while working with the other PS before, I found the typical “talk to a nurse, make an apt, wait for an hour in the waiting room for the apt” set up. Perhaps it would have been different after the surgery with the other PS, but that is how the consults and follow-up questions went. Dr. Galanis uses video chats/text/photos etc, to provide you with quick answers when you are worried which was amazing. Working with him was easy – I think his price was in line with other good surgeons and it was nice that he includes everything you need such as post-operative garments. I am glad I finally did this and really pleased with my experience with Dr. Galanis.
