Update! 1 year & 1 month post op!
I would never recommend California surgical institute and Dr.Smaili! Of course you are paying for a "service" and they are rendering this service in exchange for your coins, however, all they care about is the money. And if they think they can get more money out of you they will set you up! I truly believe I was set up. I didn't mention this in my first post b/c I was still hopeful everything would heal up correctly; BUT I had what I have now learned to be "HOT BOOB," which basically means it is the first sign of infection. Also, when I had fever like symptoms, I was burning up, sweating, and coughing the next day and the nurse who was like doing my check up knew something was wrong and kind of commented on it, but still said nothing to anyone and sent me home. So, trying to be trustful, I just thought I was ok and this was normal and went home. However the whole time I could feel something wasn't right with my left breast. Long study short, I kept bringing it to their attention, they kept brushing me off and playing games, which was easy to do since I don't live in CA.
So about 2 months ago, I had enough, and demanded to be seen and something be done to fix this because I have capsular contracture on both, but very severely on my left breast, and it is painful & for some reason itchy! I'm uncomfortable all the time!
Long story short, they are trying to charge me more than I spent to get these things! I have a warranty as well, and of course they are trying to bypass that and say I can't use it, when I even called Natrelle (the breast implant company), and they said I have up to $3500 in capsular contracture incident!
Let me also add in here, that I stressed I didn't want a significant change, I wanted to be a big B, small C, I wanted subtlety, and natural, and he gave me these big ass [RS bleep] boobs, that do not fit my chest, and are the complete opposite. He also, jacked up one of my nipples which is not even round anymore, it looks dumb and kind of like a box! Clearly, they are not clean because I got an infection, and had to go to urgent care in my own state, which they diagnosed as an INFECTION, and they gave me antibiotic, but told me the capsular contracture will most likely keep getting worse because it was infected already for too long without treatment!!! So they are clearly not handling things cleanly or properly! It is not worth it!!! I have so much evidence of malpractice, I may decided to sue, I have spoken with a lawyer.
Do not trust California surgical institute, Dr.Smaili, or the patient care coordinator, especially Andrea, she won't help you.

Alright, so I had rhinoplasty and breast...
Alright, so I had rhinoplasty and breast augmentation all in one procedure with Dr. Smaili at California Surgical Institute. I had my consultation at the Beverly Hills office with him, and had my procedure in the upland facility. I came in on a Monday, and had my procedures the same week on Thursday. It was an amazing process from start to finish, I wasn't even sure that I was actually going to go through with it, and I just felt so confident after meeting with Dr.Smaili, and meeting with their consultant Andrea. I had breast augmentation through the nipple, and I got silicone. My scar on the nipple is healing up and disappearing very nicely. But if you're person who is impatient, I wouldn't go this route, I would do through the armpit because the scar is less visible, and heals up nicely as well. For my rhinoplasty, he did it all through the nose, there were no cuts on the exterior of my nose, which was awesome. Depending on what you may need, you may be able to get it done that way too. But I wanted something very subtle and just a little tweak, and he did just that. It's not very noticeable, but it made all the difference in my face, I love it!! Dr. Smaili, and the consultant, Andrea, they both really are just awesome! I am going to post some pictures, and I'll leave them there for a few weeks, but if they're not there by the time someone reads this just message me! (:
Oh by the way, i'm now I'm returning to him for a BBL, and I'm very excited, I am going to document everything from start to finish on here on another post! (:

Dr.Smaili is very brief, (which I actually like), but he listens very well, he make sure he understands, he gives you realistic expectations, he's honest with you, and he's a very confident doctor and surgeon. He's also a very cool person, and funny, haha. He's awesome, I promise. My follow up visits with him have been awesome. I saw him the day after surgery, a week later, a month later, and then I saw him at the 3 month mark, and the 5 month mark just recently.
