Did research for 11 months and made my decision. That week, I Visited Dr. Ryan Stanton, a fully Credentialed Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon for an office visit consultation. The next 2 weeks I consulted with Mindy, Patient Coordinator by phone and in office, a bubbly personality who I connected well and actually was the deciding factor in pursuing the operation; My main concern was general anesthesia.

I was 100% confident in Dr. Stanton skills and procedures; approximately 300 butt implants a year with 1% complication rates; Who else can do the job with his eyes wide shut. I definitely was safe.

The ideal butt implant was/is 500cc Oval implant patented by Dr. Ryan Stanton.

3 wks day post op:

For the first three days, the pain was around 5 with medication and laying on my abdominals while sleeping or relaxing can be challenging. Oxycodone helps with the pain. I followed the recover directions accordingly. Three Weeks I am able to drive for 30 minutes and turn on my sides for 20 minutes, and I am able to sit on the toilet seat. However, I am not sitting unless I am driving. Every day I am recovering less discomfort. My only mild discomfort is between my upper cheeks. It is tender when I stand for a prolonged period or driving. However, the major concern is the healing process of my incision. It is imperative that incision heals. Also, I do believe my recovery has been positive because I am a non-smoker, and I exercise regularly.

September 01, 2017, started my exercise regime eight days ago. I am regaining my muscle tone. Should take 12 to 18 weeks to be back to normal. The following exercise I am starting to do...
1. Swimming - Back to normal
2. Running - 3 miles - 27 min (50 Percent)
3. Deadlift - 45 plates on each side - 15reps (30 percent)
4. Squat - 100 Barbell 15 reps (30 percent)
5. Lunges 70 Barbell 10 reps (30 percent)
6. Reverse hack squats 20 reps 45 + 25 each side 20 reps (30 percent)

* It feels tight, some discomfort. I should be back to normal in three weeks.

7. Bench Press - I need to learn to balance my self; I lift my legs up.

Con:
I have Ulnar Nerve Entrapment. My pinky and half of my other finger are slightly numb. I heavily used my elbows during recovery. It's improving over time.

Overall, It has been an adventure.

thanks for the update. ill be getting mine next month travelling from australia. how were you at ten days? i have a flight then but after reading mixed reviews im thinking i may need to stay an extra 2 days?
September 4, 2017
Staying another 2 days will make a difference. The 3 wk I started driving short distances. 30 to 50 minutes was enough for that week; I needed to use a pillow and then towels to reduce the pressure and mild discomfort. I had 2 scary moments where I felt the sensation that my incision was tearing. My advice for your flight is to where a strong garment or even placing duck tape to hold your butt checks in place. Your main concern during your recover is wound care.

thanks for the tip! , i will definetly stay 12 days in la then.

Stay as long as you can. Each day will give your body more time to heal. My return flight home was in 8 days and I was so so wishing I had of delayed it. The flight was hard and I didn't feel like going. Don't make that mistake. Stay as long as you can

I'm 8 weeks post op today. Oval intramuscular. Definately a journey!! Still having tightness, ass is still sore and I can sit for only a little minute or two. Sit more straight up can't set back. I still have contractions , the tightening up back there do uou?
September 6, 2017
Now it is a good time to be a little more aggressive and start pushing your ass; healing will be come faster and before you know it your back to normal.

Thanks, im seriously trying to stay positive. . Any encouragement is welcome. Sometimes I think that communication is the only thing that has kept me sane . I feel defeated. I just thought id feel normal sooner. They really never explained any of this to me about the recovery. I wasn't prepared at all. My fault because I should have done more research.

But I'm improving so if I can help someone else I will. My butt looks good and it certainly didn't before so that's my positive

Th recovery was interesting; once is enough. As you assault the muscle it adapts and becomes stronger and in the long run less pain.

Would be great to upload photos.

Thanks for responding and the encouragement

Thanks sharing! I am had mine 12 days ago and can relate to your review. I also feel I am using my elbows a lot. My implants are 420 (or 425 can't remember) and it was Dr's recommendation, I am really liking the results and my recovery has been good - similar pain scale as yours ... the worst part is being home and laying on my belly... can't wait to start working out in a few weeks. CONGRATS ON THE GREAT RESULTS! xoxo

Cool for you to upload your photos especially to see the art work and the incision.
Not working out for 6 wks is tough; I gained one inch on my waist. I started running and I sprang my ankle stepping on a pine cone heard a pop sound and went to the ER. So depressing. we are probably like minded folks, we need to sweat!!!
Oval or round? Dr. recommended oval b/c I swim regularly. He stated people might be able to notice the implants if round. Also both pinkies and second are still slightly numb. Be careful.
Don't forget to upload your photos!

Just added some new pics on my two week review.
I got the Stanton Ovals (425) and pretty happy w size (I'm 5'10 160 lbs).
I CANT WAIT TO GO WORKOUT AGAIN! haha. I've been paying much more attention to my elbows since your review because I started feeling some soreness around my left pinky. You started working out 6 weeks after your surgery? or it was 6 weeks because of your ankle?
September 15, 2017
You're behind compliments your body style. The doctor did an excellent job. Over time, the swellling and the settling of the butt and going back to your daily workout your behind will no longer be an issue.

I have Ulnar Nerve Entrapment too, after my butt implant surgery last week. I never mentioned it to the doctor. Did you and have you received any advice?
October 2, 2017
Wait until 6 to 8 wks.
If there is no change best to see a doctor. Mine is slowly recovering.

My leg routine is back how it was before; I do 185 lbs lunges 5 reps, squatting 285, deadlift 285lbs.
I am WORRIED if the implants can flip. No sensation as of yet.
Overall, no pain. A little awkward doing abs.

Can you lay on your back okay now?
December 27, 2017
Yes - no big deal.
You feel the implants when you sleep on your left or right side. My right side sometimes feels sore; it could be lactic acid - not sure.

You look amazing, I wonder if the 500/Oval is the right for me too since I am also a bodybuilder with well developed legs. Thank you for your story.

Hi. I met with Dr. Stanton about a revision to my butt implants. I had rounds put in and they just dont look right. yours look great. Now that more time has passed, do you still think they look great? I also body build but have never been able to get the butt to match my body. So just looking for feedback before I commit with Stanton.

How tall are you? I think your implant size is good for your size and just want to get an idea what size I should get.
