How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

tired of this site

Am a bit tired of the fact that you can't remove a temporary post on this site. The last one was simply for the benefit of one person, since this site will not allow you to post pics in a personal message. So I put them on the site and now it's giving me a hard time about taking them down.

Temporary post

I am posting these photos per request from a member, although I don't much like my mug plastered on site for public review. So this is for you, Adultchild, and I will leave the photos up for a few days. Hope you see them before they go back down.

update

Am removing pics for now

For those of you looking for a doctor who you can trust to do good work, I highly recommend Dr. Moelleken and his staff. You couldn't be in better hands. Dr. Moelleken takes pride in his work, placing sutures so strategically that I can't even find them anymore. There were occasional moments, within the first month post op, where the swelling (although minimal compared to what I thought it would be) created a few temporary minuscule distortions. I would panic and send a message to Dr. Moelleken who would answer almost immediately and have me send a photo text. It always turned out to be a normal part of the healing process and resolved on its own but it was reassuring to have him explain and put things in perspective. I luckily never had a hematoma and in terms of pain, there was only mild discomfort along the suture lines, primarily the ones inside the ears. This only lasted a few days. My fears of asymmetry, nerve damage or infections, which I have read about on this site, never came to pass which I attribute to his expertise. Penny, his office assistant, makes you feel right at home and you can fire away with questions without feeling rushed or like an imbecile. She has a way of explaining things with that perfect balance of "here is how it works" without tossing you an avalanche. Sharon, Dr. Moelleken's nurse, has a gentle touch and demeanor when it's time to pull out those sutures. Crystal, at the front desk always greets you with a smile and her cheerful disposition just sort of puts you in a good mood no matter how bad the traffic was coming in. She also makes future scheduling a breeze. All the while, Dr. Moelleken closely monitors your progress on a regular basis, ready and willing to address any concerns. His knowledge, with a good sprinkle of kindness and sense of humor, make for a winning combination. I remember how deflated I felt on my way home from a pre op visit and the Uber driver passed my place of employment. When told that I work there, his response was "Oh, but you're retired now, right." Fast forward to 2 months AFTER my surgery, on my way to a post op visit, a different driver asked me if I was on my way to work. Was this surgery worth it to me? Yes, it was.
