New Boobs! - Beverly Hills, CA

So I finally decided to go through with surgery and get breast augmentation! I am 30 years old. I have wanted to do it but for many years I was on the fence because I was debating on if I should do it now, or wait until after children. Well after speaking to many women and realizing that I am not going to have children for about 3-5 more years, I went ahead and did it! I am thrilled with the outcome.

I live in Los Angeles and have access to many of the top doctors in town. I decided to go with Dr. Joubin Gabbay in Beverly Hills for a few reasons. From the first visit his main concern was safety! He really took his time and explained that if he did the surgery he would want us to select an implant that would fit safely in my body and that would last for many years without causing any complications. Which is so important to me! I have seen many friends who selected implants that were was too big and ended up having complications and I did not want to have huge boobs just to have huge complications later in life.

So I decided to book surgery and it was so much easier than I anticipated it to be. We decided to go with 350cc silicone gel moderate plus profile implants. I wanted a very natural look. I am 5'5" and about 115 but I exercise often so I didn't want to be too big.

Surgery day: So the day of surgery I was a little nervous, but everything went smooth. Dr. Gabbaymet with me before surgery, took photos, and did precise markings and really took his time to explain everything and keep me calm. There was never any rushing through any of my appointments, and believe me sometimes I asked tons of questions. Once I got the IV I was out and woke up with new boobs! Upon awaking the first thing I asked is "what size did you do?" This is because we decided that out of 350cc or 375cc the one that looked the best is what he would go with. Once it was time to go home my chest was tight and sore but never severe pain. I used ice packs and took the pain medications as directed. Within 2 days I was walking around the mall and went to dinner and a movie, not driving of course. So the recovery was super easy and fast. I was back to work the next week like nothing happened. Now my clothes were just fitting better.

After 1 week, I went in for my post-op appointment and Dr. Gabbay removed the tape they applied the day of surgery. Then I started using silicone gel and silicone strips. These 2 products made my scars fade a lot. Although my scars never really bothered me because the placement in my crease was very inconspicuous.

Now my breasts have dropped and fluffed and are very very soft. I love them so much!! No one ever notices that I have had an augmentation and I get so many compliments once I tell people. All I hear is that they look very natural and fit my body perfectly. In my opinion I feel that is how surgery should be, it should enhance your natural beauty and be proportionate to your body. So in the end I am 100% happy with my decision and the whole experience. Make sure when your interviewing docs that their #1 priority is safety and longevity. My experience with Dr. Gabbay and the entire staff was incomparable!
