I’d been contemplating rhinoplasty since I was a teenager and finally decided it was time to do it! I visited a few doctors, and Dr. Porter was easily the one I felt most comfortable with. She worked with me until we had a shape I was happy with, a look that was very natural, and only a subtle change to my appearance. The surgery went smoothly and the recovery took only two weeks (1 week to get rid of the bruising and noticeable swollenness; 2 weeks to feel comfortable going back to work). The only hiccup in the whole process was that my skin was allergic to the glue used for the cast after surgery, so I had to remove it early and deal with 2-3 days of an allergic skin reaction. Other than that, it was a seamless experience and I have never been happier with my appearance!
