WORTH IT
I've done multiple surgeries with Dr. Richards during this year of 2018. Among these, there was a breast implant exchange that I did in February. To make a long story short, I will say that I did like my end results for that breast surgery, but also believed that my breasts could have a better appearance - and I was convinced that I would need a revision to achieve those results. Dr. Richards disagreed at first with my idea, but I insisted and he ended up giving me that revision, for which by the way I truly loved the results. However, my happiness did not last very long, because a couple of months later I developed a deformity on my breasts well known as "bottoming out". As soon as I noticed that my breasts started to look deformed I started to panic and then have become truly depressed - at that moment, I immediately regretted to have ever asked for a second surgery. However luckily enough, I was in the hands of the best plastic surgeon in my area - as soon as Dr. Richards was notified about the development of that deformity, he just not only immediately scheduled a date for a next revision to solve that issue, but was also kind enough to not charge me one penny for that surgery. I am 5 days post today and since day 1 I was already able to notice an incredible change on my appearance. I honestly learned a big lesson with this experience and I am now writing this review with hopes to encourage all of you out there to never going under the knife unnecessarily - please LISTEN to your doctor and stop micro-analyzing your beautiful silhouettes. Thank you Dr. Richards for being so talented, kind, and also a true gentleman. Thank you also Ben, Lindsay, Katherine, Penny, and all Dr. Richards' crew, who have always taken such good care of your patients - you are all fabulous!

This review is the least you deserve doc - you and your staff rock!! Fingers crossed for no return of bottoming out. Thank you again.

Did you change your implants after the bottoming out? Or are they the same?? I had my revision and kept the same implants. I’m thinking I might need to switch them now tho

Thank you for the kind comments dear! I did not change my implants at all. It is usually not necessary to change implants on revisions unless we want to downsize or go up on size. Why would you want to change your implants? You had 2 surgeries already and your breasts have improved a lot already. I just went thru my third surgery, but only because I had developed a deformity and had no choice. I would have never asked my doctor for a second surgery (for which was something he was against at first), if I knew I would need a third one. Believe me, you don't want a third surgery, unless your doctor recommends you one. Are you thinking on downsize or something?

Wow! Amazing! May I ask why you wanted a second surgery? Do you have pictures from your first surgery?

Thank you dear! I wanted a second surgery because I thought my breasts were looking too high up top - pictures are posted on my other review. If you check them out you will note that there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. On the other, my breasts did not look as nice on my other surgeries as they did on this last one. At least on my opinion, what I have now are my dream breasts ♡

Ok I will check it out. I am so sorry you had to go through three surgeries to get your dream breasts. I can imagine having had the complications with your second surgery must have been extremely difficult both physically and mentally but your results now are phenomenal !! They are perfect!! So happy to all worked out for you !

Even when I was lucky enough to have had great results on my third surgery, I absolutely regret to have ever asked for an additional surgery - I was very depressed when my breasts bottomed out. As I said before, on my first surgery my breasts did not look as good as they look now but I had absolutely no reason to ask for a revision - I just wish my doctor pushed me a little harder on not doing it, but I guess he was trying to avoid to have me annoying him pushing on that surgery that I never needed. And I wouldn't be surprised that he was also trying to avoid a bad review - some of us crazy women tend to behave not very nicely when our surgeons show disaproval on whatever we ask them to do. I don't believe though that I would have written him a bad review if he had refused to give me a second surgery. I personally believe that a bad review would be more appropriate to write for surgeons with bad hands, those who leave us with butchered results and don't offer any alternative to help - I don't believe it would have been fair from my part to have had written my doctor a negative review only based on that he disagrees with what I want him to do.

I am 7 days post capsulorrhaphy due to bottoming out deformity - just loving my results. Right now these look like dreamy results :) Pain has been decreasing every day and I am currently only taking some Tylenol. I am being extremely cautions with my healing process - fingers crossed for no return of bottoming out.
