Take a look at my photos. Dr. Ridgway in Bellevue, WA is the master when it comes to perfectly and naturally sculpting your lips and NO pain whatsoever during the procedure and NO bruises. I'm 44 years old and augmentation with Volbella gives me a much more youthful appearance. The HA filler lasts me about 7 months and $400.00 is so worth it especially when done this perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

With great care and virtually effortless unparalleled expertise Dr. Ridgway injects Volbella to my lips with a result that reads a natural, perfectly sculpted pout. After lidocaine Dr. Ridgway defined the outline of the lips along with slight augmentation of the philtrum ridges. Attention to details like this makes a significant difference for a youthful outcome (I'm 45 yrs. old) and will be the closest you can get if you want to emulate Mother Nature. The vast majority of the Volbella syringe is placed in the most voluminous parts of your lips, the "pillow-y" part which definitely yields the most aesthetically and pleasing result for the " just-born-with -it" look. No pain, no bruises, no pumped "duck" lips, no lumps or bumps, just smooth, oh so pretty lips. My lip augmentation was the perfect cherry topper to compliment my mini facelift and upper blepharoplasty performed to perfection by Dr. James M. Ridgway. Who else? You are my hero.

At almost 4 months out are you still loving it? Your lips are perfect!
Depending of how fast your body metabolized the HA filler, it can last up to 7 or 8 months. Unfortunately I metabolize fairly fast and mine will last me about 4 months. However I’ll continue the fillers because I think it makes a subtle yet significant change to your expression.
