Feeling like I look better than before but still unhappy with a few things. Cleavage and size. Some rippling that I can feel on my right side. Hoping things are still changing and settling.

I like your result. May I ask what brand, size, and profile you went with?

asked to update why I'm still unsure

I am holding out judgment of if it was worth it until my 3 month mark at least. There are some things I like better. Like the feel of this implant and shape. But as far as pain and final size and sensation, that is still to be determined.

3 weeks post op

samsgirls
Well finally about the three week mark I noticed that I didn't think about my boobs 24/7. The pain was finally subsiding! I am at week 4 now and while I still have some soreness I would definitely not call it pain. No longer needing to take tylenol before I get out of bed. Starting to feel like myself again! Can't wait to go running. Not there yet. Hopefully in a couple of weeks. I only have one recent photo. So far very happy with results. I felt huge at first with swelling but now feel smaller than before. Fit into old bras :-( waiting on final judgement of course because I know how much things will change in the first few months.

I'm in a similar situation, so looking at your results makes me feel better. I have saline overs and I want to get silicone unders. Were there any specific reasons why your dr advised not going under the muscle after having overs?
August 2, 2014
Just that there was no reason to because I was still soft and no problems over the muscle. Once in the operating room he decided to go under the muscle. He thought it looked better. He did mention that he found alot of scar tissue. So my guess is that I lost enough of my breast tissue with the removal that I didn't have the coverage for over the muscle. I plan on asking at my next appointment.

I see, thanks for the reply! I live close to you. I'm planning to have it done in 2 years. I've had my saline overs for about 5 years now, reason why I want to get them redone is to go smaller and get silicone, and I don't know about you but going over the muscle seems like my skin got a little saggy.. Anyway, you look great!

My revision is come up soon, Aug 13th with Dr. Revis. Replacing my 15yr old 500cc Silicone with 800cc silicone. You were prob in the study too huh? How many cc did you get? Did yer PS tell you that there was a possibility of him having to go under the muscle? I think that would have really freaked me out if not! I'm also worried about losing breast tissue with my revision and hope I'm happy with the size afterwords. I def don't wanna go under the muscle cuz I'm so used to the upper pole already and would hate the idea of having to go with saline if I want bigger in the future. Trying to stay positive and hope and pray for awesome results on Aug 13th.

You look wonderful. What size did you get? I'm only 3 months post but very disappointed in size and I'm thinking of a revision may be next year.

450 cc sientra classic shape textured anatomical. I went from 240 cc textured saline above muscle. Came out about the same size. 34d - 34 Dr.

Thank you. And yes it is frustrating when what we mostly hear is fast recovery. I felt like I was being treated like a pill seaker when I contacted my ps office. I have given birth naturally to 4 children and have had a full tummy tuck. I can handle pain if I know what to expect! I was just worried that something was wrong since according to them it shouldn't be that bad. Well it was. I'm just now atthe uncomfortable stage I should have been at 3 weeks ago. It's very depressing. I think people should know that it is a possibility. I'm sorry for you and hope you feel better soon. Good luck with your flight.
