I have a breast augmentation scheduled for May 26th with Dr. David Stephens. I plan to go under the muscle with a silicone implant, placed via inframammary incision.
I am 27 years old, currently about a B cup, and am 5'5", about 150lbs. I have a very muscular and athletic body, with big thighs and a round bottom. I want to get the augmentation to balance my curves and become proportional. My goal is a full D-DD, but in the end the cup size is not a huge deal for me, as long as it looks good and fits my body. When I last met with Dr. Stephens we both discussed and thought a 485cc implant would look good, and not too big. I have my pre-op meeting with him tomorrow where we will choose the final size.

I'm just speaking from a guys point of view with a bit of body dismorphia and wanted to say that yours look perfect the way they are. I wouldn't change a thing. I'm trying to write this without sounding creepy.

I haven't posted any of mine. These are all wish boobs! :D

Both of my exes were B cups. I only posted a comment because it showed up in my email. It's not like I got on here to look at boob pix...lol. I was gonna say, it looked like different people and also those pix looked more like full C cups. I came to the site looking for penile implants. I'm paralyzed now and it's a 1/2 n 1/2 on wether I'm gonna be good to go or not. Scary pix to look at of the surgeries

Hello, I have my pre-op appointment scheduled for tomorrow with Dr. Stephens. Can I ask what shape implant you went with? Round vs anatomical, moderate vs high profile, textured vs. smooth? Also, is there any reason you decided on going through the breast crease? Can't wait to see your before and afters. Good luck on your surgery! :)

Hello,
Yes I am happy to share. I chose a round, textured, moderate profile implant. I chose to go with the inframammary approach for two reasons: 1) because I'm a weightlifter and I didn't want to lose the use of my arms for that long, and 2) I think that because of the large size implant I'm getting going through the crease is the easiest approach.
I can't wait! I'm only three weeks out now! Time sure is flying. Let us know how your preop goes and best of luck!

Thank you for sharing! I am also getting round textured implants, but I couldn't decide on moderate or high profile. They look almost the same on the 3D image :/ my surgery is a week before yours. I'm really excited. Hope we both get the results we want :)

It was pretty hard to tell. What volume implant will you be getting? I talked with Dr. Stephens and the nurse about their thoughts and we all agreed that because of the size that I'm getting a high profile might be overkill. Dr. Stephens seems like such a perfectionist (which is why I chose him) so I trust his judgment!
So excited for you! I wish mine was scheduled sooner. Haha.

I'be decided on moderate! :) I'm only getting getting 250cc. I'm a little nervous that I might regret not going bigger. I want something natural, but I don't want to go under the knife for nothing! LOL did you consult with any other surgeons before deciding on Dr. Stephens? I was a little surprised on how little reviews he had on realself and Yelp. I was really happy to see a recent review for him (yours) :)

Oh! have you purchased a post-op bra yet?
May 6, 2016
I constantly read about boob envy. Do what you're comfortable with. If it looked good on the vectra then that's what it will look like! Best machine ever.
I consulted with two other surgeons: Dr. Windle in Kirkland and Dr. Salemy in Seattle. Dr. Salemy was a big no for both me and my fiance. Dr. Windle was great but I liked Dr. Stephens more and feel like I will get the best results. Plus Lori is a doll. Haha.
I was surprised too that he has so few reviews. His location is great and from what I've seen of the before and after photos I don't see why there are so few.
I literally just bought the bra a couple of hours ago on amazon. I'll find the link and post it in a little bit. :) it has two hook settings so they can make it as tight as they need to.

Got my scripts and post-surgical bra today!

It's finally feeling more official. I picked up my prescription from the pharmacy today, and the lady asked if I was starting my own pharmacy! It was a lot, but I will be well prepared (thanks doc!) so I'm ok with everything I got. The total with insurance was just over $50. Not bad.
The post-surgical bra came in and I immediately took it out of its package to try it on. Holy cow it smelled sooooo strongly of detergent. I will have to wash it before the surgery. The package says its "treated" to prevent bacteria from forming and infection, but it just smells like someone dumped fabric softener all over it. The good news is my bedroom smells nice now. Haha.

The bra I got from amazon. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Post-op-after-breast-enlargement-reduction/dp/B00VEKWENQ?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01

I also bought a long-handled shower brush and pill box to make life easier for myself. Now I'll just be counting down the days until I upgrade the girls...

I'm counting down the days with you! :) I've been procrastinating, but I am getting my rx filled tomorrow! How does the bra feel? It's going to be so weird not buying a b anymore! Hehe I'm going to buy an under armour protégée bra (on sale at sports authority) and also pick up a fruit of the loom comfort sports bra. I've read good reviews for both - will let you know how they work out :)
May 11, 2016
Oh, and thanks for posting pictures! Can't wait to go on this BA journey together!

The bra is comfortable for now. I have a close friend that got a reduction and she was ready to burn her bra at the end of the recovery period. Haha. She said "nothing excites me less". I can't wait to see what my new bra size is when this is all said and done. Zovo in Bellevue Square has some great bras, but they are spendy. I bought a couple of sale items there and will be sad when they don't fit anymore! But not that sad ;)
Let me know how those bras work for you. I might end up buying a second later.
Excited to do this together too!!! Is your surgery next week?

Day of treatment

Finally did it!

My check in time ended up being 7am and I was under by 8.
All of the nurses and staff at Dr. Stephens office were amazing.
They ended up placing a 445cc in my right breast, and 485 in my left -round textured. I still haven't looked under the bandages, but I don't feel like I need to hurry. I'm in too much pain to try any extra movement today.

One interesting thing for me today was being put under. I've never been put out but it was kind of cool. I went to sleep in a robe on a table and woke up in a chair in my clothes covered in a blanket. LOL.

I'm noticing a little bit more pain in my left side where the larger implant was placed. I will just try to nap a bit more, I'm thinking the pain will subside.

May 28, 2016
Thank you! How did yours go? I didn't think the pain would be this bad.
May 29, 2016
Hang in there, girl! I thought I had ok pain tolerance, but this was more than I expected! I think the first 3 days were the worst. It's been a week for me and it still hurts to get up, especially when I wake up, but each day it gets a little easier :)
June 7, 2016
I hope you're feeling well by now! I would love to see pics.... My surgery is in two days and I'm thinking about going the same size as you! :)
