Since I can recall, I’ve had a double chin that’s been passed down throughout the women in my family. My double chin was hereditary, meaning I couldn’t get rid of it, no matter how much weight I lost or expensive neck creams I purchased. Throughout the years I’ve been saving up for chin liposuction but when I heard of a less invasive solution, I was very interested. I went to Dr. Liliav March 6th to get my first Kybella injections. Dr. Liliav, and his PA Alice, were very informative and answered all the necessary questions before the injections. I was brought into a cozy patient room and given Lidocaine cream to apply under my chin, to help with any pain from the hypodermic needles. After letting the Lidocaine sit for a few minutes, Dr. Liliav began injecting under my chin. I hardly felt a thing, just a slight tingling sensation. Once Dr. Liliav finished multiple injections under my chin, Alice gave me an ice pack to help with any swelling. I went home and began feeling some “burning” and pain under my chin, which is normal. I took some ibuprofen and the pain went away within 30 minutes. I continued icing my chin on and off for the remainder of the evening and the pain never returned. The following day I went to work, I was minimally swollen (no one noticed) and I only had two tiny bruises under my chin from two of the needle injections (once again, no one noticed those either.) The swelling went away over the course of three days and I began seeing/feeling the results under my chin. It’s been a month since my first injection and the results are already amazing. My jaw line is more defined and my double chin is hardly a double anymore. The skin under my chin feels and appears tighter. I’m going in for a second treatment this coming week and Dr. Liliav believes this will be my last visit for Kybella injections, YEY! Ive had such a great experience with Dr. Liliav, and his staff, they deserve 100 stars!!!
