Hi guys. I will be 3 months post op on Saturday. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. The first month seems so distant now. My advice to new "boob" ladies is to hang in there. Take pain killers, rest up and allow your body to heal itself. I have had no real dramas. I had a few stitches poking out slightly but no wound separation or anything. I continue to wear a sportive bra 24/7 unless I'm swimming or showering. I paid too much for these so I'll not risking them dropping sooner than I'd like. They have dropped slightly into their natural position and look natural. I've always enjoyed sex but oh my goodness I love it so much more now that I feel more sexy and confident. Best decision ever! My only problem is finding bras without underwire. I've heard we shouldn't wear underwire now but just can't seem to find bras without now. Any suggestions? I've started using bio oil on my scars. I'll keep you updated on how it goes.

I continue to heal well. I don't wake up feeling swollen and sore anymore. I've been able to go for a few short runs this week and have experienced no pain doing this. I just wear a really firm Lorna Jane sports top and this holds them in place. They have dropped slightly and I think they look very natural. Very happy!

My dr advised against massaging as I had a lift and there was already room for my implants to sit. So I have never massaged mine.

He said to massage for 3 months 3 times a day but I honestly massage them once a day after shower.coz I fell like touching them 2 much will make them sag lol that's just how I fell

I guess I feel the same. I move them around a little bit during my shower and that's all. My Friend had an augmentation a few years ago and her dr told her she didn't need to massage as we generally touch them and move them enough without haha.

Did you have an anchor lift? I'm still sore 3 weeks post op.

I had a lollipop lift. I was still sore up to about 6 weeks but the pain got better each day. Take regular pain killers and antiinflammatories as they helped me a lot. I use ice packs on my breasts when they get sore and I find this helps numb them. I also wear my post op bra 24/7 and will continue to do so for up to 6 mths. This was my drs instructions.

Good instructions!! My dr said to wear bra 24/7 too to protect lift!!! I'm getting better each day and just stopped icing for blood flow but am going to again!
So many women don't wear the bra after or steri strips.

I know! Why pay all that money and then risk them dropping sooner by not wearing a bra. I didn't use steristrips but did tape them on and off for the first few weeks. I found my skin reacted though so I stop doing that.

I'm continuing to heal well. No real pain now more of a discomfort from time to time. I'm sticking with light duties - no heavy lifting, no hanging washing out (yay!) etc until I'm 8 weeks. My Dr didn't give me any specific instructions but from my nursing experience I know it takes approx 6-8 wks for internal stitches to heal and I don't want to risk anything. I'm getting out and walking regularly and doing gentle arm raises but just not put added stress on my pectoral muscles. I love them! I didn't realise how much of an impact this would have on me mentally as well. I feel more confident and sexy than ever before.

Hey babe!! Still healing amazingly, can't believe how light your scarring is!! I've just been working flat out so haven't updated (not that there is much to review) I've got 3 weeks to go now!! I've told work I'll be back after three weeks but after reading your post I'm thinking I should've asked for more!! Eek too late now x

I can't believe how good the scarring is already either. What do you do for work? I went back after 3 weeks and it wasn't too sore just the swelling. Bought another front closing bra with a sports back. I find those the most comfortable. You must be getting sooo excited?

What implant size and profile did you get? :)

I had HP round silicone gel implants. 250cc in left and 300cc in right. Smaller in left due to prominent chest wall and to make them look even.
