I'm a 36 year old wife with two girls, 10 and 7. My weight has gone up and down ever since I had my children. Last year I started my body transformation and signed up for the Michelle Bridges 12wbt. Since starting in September 2013 I've lost a surprising 20 kgs!! I feel so fit and healthy and look amazing.
However as a side effect of breast feeding and changes in weight my breasts have become deflated and saggy. I think I've wanted my boobs "fixed up" for at least 6 years. I always thought it would be too expensive and I would be selfish spending that much on myself. It's become difficult to buy nice dresses, tops or swimmers as I have to buy ones that hide how much they sag.
I've been with my husband for 20 years and he has always been very supportive of my body transformation and encouraged me to look into having the surgery overseas. I joined the Cosmetic International Holiday Facebook page and saw all these beautiful women having the surgery I've always wanted. I made contact with them a month ago and was given a free quote. The price was surprisingly affordable so I decided to send some photos through to have a proper assessment. Just as I thought I have stage 3 ptosis (sag) and need a breast lift with implants.
After a long chat with the hubby we decided to go ahead and book in for the surgery. I'm scheduled to fly out of Australia on the 4th of September for Phuket. The company I'm booked with have been so helpful and have answered any silly question I've had. I've researched loads of websites and feel comfortable with the decision to have this surgery overseas. It would be just too expensive to have it done here and on the plus side I get to enjoy a holiday in Thailand while I recover.
I phoned my Mum to tell her and was surprised when she was so supportive of the idea. I've got large breasts already and when I've mentioned to my friends in the past about wanting to have it done they have all come back with "you don't need a boob job lol!" So it's lovely to have my mother's support. She has even decided to come over to Phuket with me so she can be there when I wake up.
I'm feeling a little nervous but excited about having it done and now I just have to wait 6 months til my dream can become a reality. I will update you all as it gets closer to the day. If anyone has any questions about the company I've booked with please feel free to contact me.

July 30, 2014
Apparently Sept-Oct is the hottest time to go lol but I'm hoping since it will be the beginning of Sept it may not be too bad :-) how's ur implants going? I see you had to massage them loads to get them to drop.

July 30, 2014
Oh hon I hope it's not too hot for u x nope all that massaging only dropped about 4/5 cm in 6 weeks now I'm in a strap for 6 weeks solid 24/7 ggggrr but my pec muscles r that tight they rnt moving lol so I just think that's a good thing because that means they won't be dropping anywhere I don't want them to lol xx

Hon just saying that I wanted saline teardrops for years n years but my surgeon suggested silicone gummy ears as I was flat up top n needed volume n saline apparently is heavier and drops quicker x so maybe ask ur surgeon what he suggest for u in his profession x u don't have to go with it but maybe his idea will help u out xx

Excellent advice babe. I never knew the difference between them. I definitely don't want them to drop! What's the difference between silicone and gel implants?

these next few weeks will go by quick Trae! I get my BL/BA done in 4days as well as rhinoplasty in Thailand Phuket at PIAC. Great your mum is coming with you, nice holiday for you both after your recovery too :) Do you know what size you are thinking? I havnt started a review for my boobs yet but think i might start one tomorrow :)

Omg I'm so excited for you :-) how are you feeling? Excited? Nervous? I'm not sure about what size I'll be. I was a 16E last year and since then I've lost 24kgs and now a deflated 10D/DD. I'd be happy to stay around the same size (no larger) as long as they are lovely, round and perky. I'm liking the look of the high profile round implants but not sure what's better - saline, silicone or gel? Which one would feel more natural?

Not long now...but it seems like forever to wait still. I'm still looking for my wish boobs and getting a collection of what I like the looks of. I'll get an idea but also be guided by what Dr Piyapas suggests. I'm currently a 10D/DD so after a lift and implants I'm assuming I'll stay about the same size? Just want them perky and something that will look hot in a string bikini. That's something I've never been able to wear before...ever!

Wow! 20kg!! That's awesome, well done! My gosh, how are these weeks flying by!
When is your surgery? That'll be lovely for you and you're Mum to have some quality time together.
Which company are you going with? :)

I'm pretty proud of what I've achieved the last 9 mths with my weight loss and fitness. I lost a total of 24kgs in the end and have lost loads of cms too. I've also managed to maintain it for the last 4 mths which used to be the hardest part. I'd lose weight and get to goal weight and couldn't maintain it. I just can't wait to have boobs to match the rest of my body. I'm flying over on the 4th of Sept with Cosmetic Holidays International and I either have surgery the next day or the day after.

Hi Trae, good luck with your surgery! I returned from Thailand just last week (I had a lift and 450cc implants) and I had the time of my life :) super happy with the care you receive and the results :)

Hi there! Thanks for the message. I'd love to see some photos of your new boobies :-) what size were you beforehand and what size are you now? I'm thinking of HP silicone gel implants. What sort did you get? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get all the info so I'm clear with what I want. I'm sure the PS will direct me but I'd like an idea before I go. Where did you have the surgery and who was your surgeon? Cheers! (Can you tell I'm a wee bit excited lol)

I will upload some pics, I was a very deflated 12A before and I think I will be measuring a D or DD once they have finished dropping. I got Mentor mod plus silicone 450cc, which come with lifetime warranty :) I booked the surgery, accommodation and transfers through Destination Beauty, who were wonderful to deal with, the consult and pre op were at the TRIA cosmetic surgery clinic, which is part of the Piyavate Hospital, Bangkok. I had the surgery and my aftercare in the Piyavate Hospital. They were so amazing in there, the nurses speak perfect English and take great care of you. My surgeon was Dr Narongdej, he was very professional and did an amazing job :) I stayed at the Somerset Suanplu Apartments which are nearby and in a fantastic location
Hope this helps :) if you want any other details just let me know

Thanks for all this info. I've booked my surgery through Cosmetic Holidays International and will be having my surgery in Phuket. I'm told the nurses are excellent and speak great English and I'll be very well looked after. I'm so grateful for this site as it's eased my nervousness about overseas plastic surgery. Thank you x
