I purchased a groupon, made an appointment, drove 40 minutes to the office and paid for parking. Aftet waiting for 30 minutes after my appointment, some young girl I can only describe as an assistant brought me into the back and immediately tried to sell me thousands of dollars worth of procedures as the groupon I purchased was basically useless and covered nothing. She trief to push Sculptra a procedure that takes 3 $1400 sessions. Were I to get the juvederm that I expected to, she suggested at least 5 syringes, 4 more than I purchased at an additional $550 per syringe. The doctor had no intention of performing the service as stated in the groupon as I was told one syringe, even two would do nothing. I know that the groupon states the doctor (whom I didn't see) would consult on the procedure and a refund (which I wasn't issued because the assistant advised me I wouId have to go back through groupon) if I was a non-candidate. I was a candidate, but from what I was explained, no one would benefit from just the one syringe. No where was upselling mentioned. It was the biggest waste of time that I had ever spent. She did not refuse me the service. She was indeed honest about the fact that the one syringe woukd be useless, so I guess I should be grateful that I wasn't ripped off and was only deceived and mislead.
