Dr. Shermak and her team are amazing! This surgery was a revision/replacement of implants placed by another Baltimore surgeon (previous saline implants placed through the nipple, which resulted in quite a bit of scarring; the implants were also just not the best size/fit for my body and professional life). She listened to every concern and request I had and went above and beyond to ensure my thoughts were considered in each step of the process (I'm in my early 40's and work in a corporate leadership role within a local health system, so size and appearance were of great concern). She was very responsive to the numerous questions I posed over the course of the weeks leading up to my surgery, and she went above and beyond to prepare me and herself for my upcoming surgery (e.g., multiple implants to see what would work best once my surgery was underway. It has been just a week since my surgery, but I can honestly say (through tear-filled eyes) that I could not have chosen a better surgeon and have absolutely NO regrets. I feel beautiful and sexy again, and I owe it all to this amazing artist of a surgeon.
