Dr Thomas Le has excellent technical surgical skills!! Remarkable improved outcome for me so far (nearly 2 months post-revision rhino). I will post before/after photos but not for another few weeks as swelling goes down. I traveled from New England to consult with rhino revisionists in NYC, Miami, and LA, spending 2 years doing research on dozens of surgeons. I spoke with actual patients of dozens of doctors across the US, saw their actual untouched photos and these people were so kind with their time and feedback (positive & negative). I am repaying the gesture. My primary surgeon was Dr Pastorek in NYC and that was a disaster. He offered to fix it (not for free) but I had zero confidence in his skills and aesthetic. He's quite elderly and I made a mistake choosing him (in 2015). I went with him because he does closed surgeries and was known to be conservative, but that was not my experience whatsoever! Im Caucasian, petite, had an ethnic hook/bump nose that got more prominent over time. After my primary, it was very pug and long and the tip was pointy and twisted. He removed too much septum and grafted so much to my tip - all unnecessarily. Very poor surgical outcome. My revision with Dr Le was many many hours long, open technique. He is meticulous!!... He measures and re-measures the nose and follows "the math" because "numbers don't lie". I'm less than 2 months post surgery - my outcome is remarkably similar to my morph photo. So if you consult with him (beware very very long appt) pls ensure that you are both on the same page re morph. He closely follows this morph during surgery as his guide. He reconstructed my nose, took ear cartilage and I am extremely satisfied. It doesn't look like a nose job at all imo. I do have a scar on my columella which, imo, is a small price to pay for giving me a normal nose. (Over time, the scar is supposed to lighten up). I pray that my nose continues to look this good as time goes on!! Good luck to all, there is hope, and I will post photos in a couple of months.
