UPDATED FROM mommymadeover
2 year update
I haven't been in here in over two years. A lot has changed since then. For starters, I had my forth little baby boy 6 months ago. I gained 70 lbs while I was pregnant... And let me just tell you, my butt was massive!!!! I've lost all the weight but the last 5 lbs. my butt is still about the same as it was before I got pregnant. It's not as big as it was originally, but it's still way better than before the surgery. My tummy is still slightly lumpy but not noticeable. My body gains weight totally different now. Everything stayed and grew and shrank in the same proportions. Will post update pics

Ladies hello, It has been awhile. Let's just say...
Ladies hello,
It has been awhile. Let's just say I've gone through crazy ups and downs after having this surgery done. Some days I felt like I wasted my money or I felt like I would never feel like myself again. It has been 5 1/2 weeks. I started working out again 1 week ago. Maaaaaaaan!!!!! That has made a whole world of difference for me. Everything is getting toned up. The swelling in my inner and posterior thighs is finally subsiding. I can see my leg muscles again. My abs are going to look AMAZING!!! I'm so excited. I tried on my bikini... and I don't even recognize my body anymore. I've lost almost 10 lbs since the surgery. My butt has gone down ALOT. Maybe a little more than I wanted to. But, I expected that because I knew I'd lose weight after the surgery.
I honestly regret gaining weight before the surgery. I don't think it made a huge difference. I would have much rathered had the surgery done and not worry about other parts of my body looking bigger than normal. My arms still look huge compared to the rest of my body and dang it.. I really wish I had them lipoed. I have gorilla arms. lol. I have this tiny tiny waist and then these huge arms. Don't gain weight unless you are super skinny. Dr. S will find the fat on you. Then , you won't have to worry about your butt shrinking after you lose weight.
Anyway, back to training. It's so easy to shed the pounds if you need to, but I was only worried about losing my butt. I don't have a pancake ass anymore but......it's no J-Lo booty either. If anyone is interested in dropping a few lbs before surgery, check this out http://fitnessguide365.com. It really works and it's not hard to follow. I lost 7 lbs the first week and my husband lost 12.

OMG...I am going through the same thing. I have gained 20lbs and the doc said I need to gain another 5-10 for a reasonably plump butt. I worked out two hours a day at 4:30am Monday through Friday. Now that I've stopped and gained weight my arms are huge...and freakin butt still small! Since this was already a concern of mine, after reading your comments, I just emailed my doc asking how much more he would charge to add my arms. I'm so nervous that I'm gonna work off all the fat he injects in my butt afterwards and end up feeling defeated. Thanks for the info. It really helped me

Yeah...judging from the pic above, your waist, butt, and thighs are perfectly proportioned. I do understand and sympathize with you about the arm comment though too. Pretty sure working out again will help that though. Thanks for all the good info you have posted. Yours has been one of the most helpful on this website for me because you worked out and had to gain weight like me. I appreciate you taking the time to write the comments and post the pics.
