You look great! How are your implants holding up? Were the implants placed behind the muscle or in front? Did you have prior radiation?
ORIGINAL POST
Dr. Weinfeld revised a three-year-old DIEP Flap...
Dr. Weinfeld revised a three-year-old DIEP Flap breast reconstruction I had had. It was done by another doctor after a double mastectomy due to cancer. On one side, I had large areas that were hard and painful, and the breast flaps had become uneven over time. Also, I had indention on one side that was visible in low-cut blouses. Dr. Weinfeld was able to remove a lot of the necrotic tissue, added a good amount of fat from fat grafting, and inserted implants to create a softer, more even and rounder look. I’m extremely happy with the results. (For the "Total cost" question above, I put the just cost of Dr. Weinfeld's service, not anesthesia and hospital.)

That is so great, thank you for sharing your experience here! Would you be comfortable posting photos of your results?
What kind of implants did you go with?
Hi RealSelfChris. You're welcome. To answer your question, I went with the Gummy Bear type of implants. And no, I don't mind posting pictures. I'll try to do that soon.
Thank you for the positive feedback. I am so glad to hear that you had a positive experience. It is very important to me that patients know that I listen to them, and so I am particularly happy that you felt that way and mentioned it. I am also pleased to hear that you enjoyed working with my team. Given their experience and level of caring, I am fortunate to have them working with me. I will pass on your kind compliments to them.
Take care,

Just wondering if insurance covered any? My last revision was 2 years ago.
