2 years post procedure and weight loss
2 years later, age 40, after 55lbs of weight loss. I think weight loss is the only way to get rid of most of a double chin. I still have some bulging below my chin, connecting to my neck. This is not pinch-able fat. It is extra skin. I would definitely need a neck lift for any further improvement in this area. I do not think Coolsculpting did anything for me.

I’m 38 and I decided to try this after being tored of hating the way my double chin looks in photos. I had two treatments, 3 months apart at $900 each.
I did not find it painful at all. It was just an odd, achy sensation for about 5 minutes until the area felt completely numb. I fell asleep both times during the treatment. I had slight skin redness but no swelling afterwards. The area felt numb for a couple of months.
Although I see very, very slight results, I think this was a waste and I would not do it again. There is still much pinchable fat at the treatment site. I would not recommend this if your double chin seems to connect to your neck area. The best candidates seem to be people who have just a small pad of fat directly under their chin that does not go into their neck region.
The technician told me I should try Kybella. I’m not spending another dime there.
If I do it will be on a more promising solution with a surgeon like lipo with a neck lift. The results are too little with these types of treatments.
