WORTH IT$800
I had two consultations previous to scheduling with Dr. Castillo through Realself. I wanted to make the bags under my eyes look better (thank you aging process), but was in no rush to make a move.
I saw great reviews, which made me a bit nervous, but with a free consult through this website I figured why not.
Dr. Nelson contacted me directly (whoa) and he was absolutely pleasant, I scheduled an appointment and am thrilled that I bit the bullet on his practice.
Our consultation lasted quite a bit, with no pictures on hand (I forgot to bring them), he had to hear me fumble through what I was trying to achieve. But once I got it out, he handed me a mirror and gave me options as to how to go about what I wanted to achieve. I went with filler (which Im happy about because another doc wanted to see me go straight to under eye bag removal via surgery). 2 syringes of Vobella, he told me the cost would be 800.00 before we proceeded, and instead of thinking about it I went for it.
It looks fabulous! Dr. Castillo called me to follow up and I have no complaints.
The 5 star reviews did make me nervous, but I couldnt think of rating him with anything less. True doctor, he aims to help and not harm, and his bedside manner is warm, light, and gentle with no gimmicky sales. But bottom line, he has the technique and know how to get the job done.
Oh and let me not forget to mention his office manager Lynn. As sweet as can be with a great sense of humor and armed with a few useful doggy tips :)
Im not going to any other doctor after this experience.

so that must be "off label" use. I have been told absolutely no where else except lips & lip area (yes, I asked!) Could you please post some before & afters with your post? Thank You!!!

I also have heard that this product is only for lips. Please post photo if you have a before and after....heck, just the after is good...

I'm actually going to ask him to take a pic. I'm going in for additional filler for my scarring. He already sent me the before, once he sends me the post after my appointment I'll upload them:)

volbella is off label for tear troughs. I had voluma done two weeks ago in my cheeks- loved it. Today i had Volbella put in my tear troughs with a canula. So far, looks pretty good. I prefer restylane in my lips- it lasts longer then juvederm.

This will be very interesting after reading about your last experience with Juvederm with someone else.
I am in the same boat as you ,left with 2 indentations after doing vbeam laser . I got filler put in superficially , didnt work . But what I have learnt since then is that the filler needs to be injected deep into the tissues by a good injector .
( looks like you have found one in Mr Castillo )

Do you mean Voluma? Volbella is for lip volume and I believe is used off-label for depressed scars. This is the first I've heard of using it in the tear trough area.

Yes, it can be used in the tear trough too.

Voluma should not be used under eyes...it is too thick.

I had it in my tear troughs and it is smooth and looks fine. I think it's the skill of the injector that is extremely important when using it.

Tru, how much was used? Was it with combination of another filler?

I was getting Voluma in my cheeks, and the injector used a very small amount in the tear trough area. It was not used with the combination of another filler. I've actually watched one of the Allergan Voluma trainers on YouTube demonstrate using it for tear troughs secondary to injecting the cheek area.

Vobella. Yes, he explained everything to me before signing the consent form.

Were the two syringes just used under the eyes? Or was some used somewhere else? Sounds like you got a good deal too!

Hi! Only under the eyes. He was great, started me slow at the first appointment, and then went back two weeks later after it settled so he could do a remaining touch up where he saw fit. I was happy with the initial visit! There was still a bit left over, and he asked if I would like it any where else but I passed. I was happy with the results and didn't want to be too greedy with my features.

I looked into a lot of different fillers, and yes they can be used off label. Depends on the skill of the doctor, but with such a thorough consult and showing me where he would place it and how, Im happy and relieved I trusted him. He's skilled.
