38, 4 Kids, (Twins) Tummy Repair and Breast Reduction/Lift :) - Atlanta, GA

I have my consultation tomorrow! Finally! I started thinking about having a TT and BL/BR earlier this year. I had never really considered PS as an option before. I thought that I would just lose my baby weight and everything would shrink back into place but after losing 40 lbs last year, I realized that was not the case. Our first child was 8lbs, followed by our twins that were 7lbs ea and our last baby finished out at 9.5lbs. I'm 5'2 with a short torso. I finally realized that all the damage to my tummy could not be fixed with just diet and exercise. The TT was my first priority but quickly decided to have my breast work done at the same time. I'm not sure exactly what procedure my doctor will recommend but I will update my postings tomorrow after my appointment with him. I'm really excited. I have done a ton of research on this doctor, watched his videos, checked his certifications, searched for any unhappy patients, etc. I also chose him because he performs his surgeries in a hospital that I trust so that makes me feel more confident as well. I decided to post my experiences here because the postings from others have helped me so much through this decision. I will post some pics in the future. Wish me Luck!

Had my consult today with Dr Deutsch. Hubby went with me and I was so nervous. Dr Deutsch and his staff were fantastic. They answered all of our questions, set our minds at ease and gave us a "good" feeling. We booked the surgery for November 7th. OMG! Only 5wks 6days to go! Dr Deutsch was very confident and encouraging about the surgery. Time to prep!

I am so excited! I can't believe it's happening in just 12 days! I have started to gather supplies. I have family coming into town for the 1st week to help me. My husband is taking off to help the 1st & 2nd week post op. My 3rd week post op everyone will be off/home for Thanksgiving break. Having 4 kids 12 and under (all in school, sports & clubs) are challenging for us on a regular day so I was really worried about taking the time off I need to heal. However, I have a great plan and honestly, I'm looking forward to it! I mean, when do I ever get to 100 percent focus and take care of myself? So I am soaking up the post surgery process of healing and being cared for. I will be taking those pain meds, watching TV/movies (I never have time for) and eating food that I did not prepare myself. I'm kinda looking at it like a vacation :) A doctor ordered vacation... My doctored advised me to try and lose a little weight before the surgery but honestly... I haven't even tried. I am very happy with my weight. I am a size Med/10 and really I feel great! I am vegan and eat really healthy but also indulge in sugar. I don't drink sodas or coffee... or really anything except water and the occasional tea. I had a physical and blood work done this summer and all my numbers are great. I don't take any medications for illnesses or ailments so... the bottom line is... I love myself (except for the stretched out belly from large babies, the 2+ in muscle separation and the huge breasts that got a cup bigger every pregnancy) And I'm not looking to be a size 0 or 2 or 4. I just want the body I have to be restored to something similar to pre babies :) I know he means well and just wants the best results possible for me but I know that just having this TT and BR is going to be life changing!
