"Much Considered Chin Implant/Lipo One of the Best Decisions"

I know this looks expensive but it included chin lipo, which was more expensive than the implant. I met with Dr. Mike Majmundar (Atlanta) based on my research - he was rated one of the best Atlanta facial surgeons and was known for his philanthropic work, as well. We had an in-person consultation and he addressed all of my questions and concerns. I was able to get in the following week for the procedures due to another patient cancelling, so his staff was fantastic in getting all of my paperwork completed. I knew what to expect for the procedure based on my online research and consultation with Dr. Majmundar.

I arrived very early for the procedure and entered into the back of his facility into a nice lounge area. I was then called into the prep area, changed into a gown, took an antibiotic, and a nurse set up my IV. Dr. Majmundar came to talk with me and he drew some outlines on my chin to guide the procedure. I also met the anesthesiologist. Once I was taken back to the surgery room, I was put under anesthesia immediately. I only recall waking up back in the prep area with my sister sitting next to me playing Bubble Witch on her phone. I had no nausea upon waking. I was discharged when I was able to sit up and change into my clothes. I was instructed to ice the area several times during the day upon recovery.

The procedure was completely painless - I had no pain at any time after the procedures. My face did bruise and it swelled a bit (not too noticeable really), but it was otherwise completely painless. I was required to see Dr. Majmundar the very next day to make sure the procedure yielded no complications. I was then given a band to wear over my head to keep my chin area tight (due to the lipo).

I believe I also met with Dr. Majmundar one and a half weeks after the procedure, then another week after that, and then again for my one month follow up. At the one-month, he felt my face was still a bit swollen, so he set me up with a complimentary face massage. I was supposed to meet with him again at the 3 and 6-month marks, but have had other health issues and just haven't had the time, but I do plan to see him in the next month. So it has been a little over 7 months since the procedures and I feel and look great. It really was one of the best decisions I have ever made. And Dr. Majmundar was a fantastic doctor, taking all of the precautions that I want to see from a doctor performing a surgical procedure. I have recommended these procedures, and Dr. Majmundar, to my friends.
