Very Large Fibroids Removed-Hysterectomy & Full Tummy Tuck 3 Weeks Apart - Toledo, OH

Less than a year ago I passed out at my BFFs wedding. Shortly after I was told I had large fibroids. And after awful side affects from attempting an alternative treatment with the drug Lupron, ($1500 3 month injection) I blew up. My tummy looked like I was 32 weeks pregnant! I am 46 years old. I have never given birth. It was then I made my decision to get a tummy tuck. At the time, I was told both procedures could be combined but I had my own experience with my own cosmetic surgeon in the past so I chose to see my own doctor for that part. I am so glad I did. He did not choose to combine the two procedures though. At first I thought hum but actually it cost me LESS to have the 2 procedures separate. Thank God I trusted my own Dr. The first cosmetic surgeon wanted $11,000. MORE!! that quote included a hospital stay after the tumor removal & hysterectomy. I won't lie. The hysterectomy hurt much much less than the tummy tuck. It's been about 2 weeks now and I'm standing straight up. My waist continues to get smaller. I purchased 2 extra compression garments via Amazon @ a very low price. They can be washed but look for the one given to you after surgery to get quite soiled. You will need help so take care of that before you schedule. The most important thing.... Let others help you! Let go. I had no idea I was such a control freak. My mom who's retired came from Atlanta to help me. Thank God for Moms & Great Cosmetic Surgeons!
