My current implants were over the muscle and about...

My current implants were over the muscle and about 10 years old. They were sagging and too large for my frame, so I went from 475cc and an E-cup bra to 400cc and about a D cup. I'm also an avid athlete for most of my life and I was still unhappy with how my stomach and lower back had stubborn fat that I could never get rid of...no matter how much cardio and dieting I did. So the choice was made to do an aug with a lift, submuscular, and lipo on the abdomen and illiacs.
I had a breast augmentation (revision) with lift and liposuction on my abdomen and iliacs. From the beginning, I was nervous for the procedure because I knew it would be more scarring than I had from my previous augmentation from another dr 10 years prior, but Dr. Al Memeniskis and the staff at the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute put me at ease.
Dr. Al is very skilled, knoweldgeable and no-nonsense...and so is his staff. You don't want fluff when you're getting a major surgery done. You wants answers and results. My first meeting was with Lillian, a consultant for the procudures, who discusses your goals, your fears and plans your experience WITH you. So you don't feel alone. She's honest too which is a HUGE factor in your plastic surgery experience. Easy to reach her on her cell phone or at work, and she was always friendly. In addition, she took me step by step through what I'd expect; from pre-op, to medications and care, and then post-op as well. And if she wasn't available, which was rare, Piera (another consultant) was amazing.
I had a freak out day worrying about if I was going to the correct size implant and she immediately pulled me in the back and we sat down to go over everything again....COMPLETELY calmed me down and put me at ease. I can't thank her enough.
Day before surgery, Lillian called with instructions. Day of surgery, Amanda the nurse took me throught he prep and again, made me feel so comfortable with this process.
Dr. Al also came in to go over everything once more and I was ready to go.
After surgery, both Amanda and another nurse, Chelsea, were SO HELPFUL and understanding. In recovery, I was comfortable and very attended to by the staff.
I had a girdle on and the surgical bra immediately following the procedure and the pain wasn’t as bad as the stiffness. I had meds for that. It was not something to be taken lightly and I recommend drinking as much water as your body will allow because the pain meds will dehydrate you.
In the following days of post-op follow ups, the staff and Dr. Al continued to be understanding and patient through my pain, as well as friendly and very positive. Also, the ultrasound for the lipo was intense, so be ready for that sensation.
With an amazingly skilled surgeon like Dr. Al Memeniskis and a staff that truly supports the entire process, I completely recommend getting your life, aug or lipo done at the Lipo and Costmetic Surgery Institute! I’m now about 5 weeks post-op and feel great. My chest and stomach look amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the results! RECOMMEND!
