I had breast lift and implants, tummy tuck, bum implants, fat transfer to bum and thigh lift. Lots!! Total cost is £11,000 GBP.
So I had weight loss surgery in December 2014 and went from my highest weight of 230lbs to about 145-150lbs. I therefore had a saggy body with my excess skin after the weight loss so wanted plastics to help lift everything and look my age (25).
In June 2015 I went to Mediface, in Turkey for the following procedures:
- Breast lift and Implants
-Tummy Tuck
- Bum implants ( I didn't plan to have these but they agreed to do it for me for free when I was there as I had absolutely no shape)
- Liposuction of back/waist --> fat transfer to buttocks
I went with Mediface firstly because of the price (£10,000), because for me to get all of my procuedures in London, UK where I live, would have been £30,000 and I just didnt have it. And 2nd reason is for the customer service I received was the best (contact is called Meltem)
I contacted lots of clinics across Europe and Turkey, but Mediface were the only ones to answer every single one of my of questions, in detail, and also agreed to a contract I wrote up asking them to cover anything that went wrong for free within the 1st year and for me to send pictures to them to review every month post op. The contact there is Meltem, who was so friendly and helpful all the way through. From me emailing initially to me being there to post op she was always there to help me and reassure me as I was so nervous.
I was nervous because you always hear about people having botched surgeries abroad when you pay less, plus I had never been abroad on my own before, but I took the plunge as I felt comfortable enough with all of my questions being answered over the weeks and agreeing to my terms too and I just had to do something about my body, I had come so far so had to finish what i started.
My procedures were done over 2 weeks - upper body week 1 and lower body week 2.
Recovery was GRIM, hardest thing Ive ever done. The morphine helped for sure lol I would actually say the worst pain was the breasts, it made me cry! The hospital and nurses were fab. Nurses were so attentive and helpful. I lost all my dignity (helping me go to the toilet and rolling me every hour) but they never made me feel uncomfortable.
So after about 2 months healing, I realised that my tummy was not as flat as I wanted, and my bum and breasts were not as big as I thought I wanted. Also my right breast had a higher squarer shape than the left, which was fine. I stayed in regular contact with Meltem and I agreed to go back in November for free to go bigger and correct my tummy/breast, and also to have a thigh lift for my sagging thighs.
I was fully prepared for not everything going as planned necessarily, as I had researched before going into it and knew that many people had revisions to get the look/size they actually wanted so I wasn't disheartened and the constant communication reassured me.
So in November 15, I went back and had:
- revised tummy tuck
- more fat transferred to bum
- larger breast implants with correction to shape of right breast
- thigh lift (£1,000 extra)
Thigh lift recovery is NO JOKE by the way.
So after a few months healing, happy to say all went well and I was really happy with the results. I had a new body to be honest!
The only thing that did not heal as planned is my right breast is still higher than the other, so I'll wait a year to see if it will change. I may have to go back and revise it again. Just have to wait and see. I stayed in contact with Meltem and they are not sure why it persists and said it must be to do with the muscles (I have under the muscle implants) but have agreed to revise again for free but, I may get another surgeons advice first in London to get their opinion on it. We'll see. I don't want to fly again. It's not too noticeable so it doesn't bother me to the point I am upset but yes I want to fix.
So overall I'm happy, I had a complete makeover and have a new body, I am happy with the results, especially considering all of the procedures I had (8 in total for a 1/3 of the price).
Meltem was great, answered everything and we still stay in touch now. The fact they just knew I wouldn't have the shape bum I wanted with fat transfer alone when I got there and gave me bum implants for free was amazing and just showed me the surgeon really wanted to help me get the look I wanted. :)
I never recommend anything, I just share my experiences for others to see. I am really happy with the results and would go through all the pain and do it all over again. This along with my weight loss surgery really has changed my life. Thanks to Meltem and the surgeon for all their help.

- get copies of the surgeons certificates to Board level
- agree a 1 year aftercare plan
- be prepared for revisions, no guarantees how your body will heal
- stay positive
- ask every question under the sun - where your scars will be, recovery time, drugs you will be given etc etc everything.
- if they don't agree to the above don't do it.
