Anyone else?

Does anyone else have a roll when they sit down post op tummy tuck? I'm worried because I have one. I know I'm still early within my healing process but it worries me still. I feel like it might be loose skin.. :/

Hi Tiffany! I can't tell if I do or not because I'm so swollen and these damn tubes are about to push me off the ledge! Does it feel like loose skin pre TT? If it's still numb and hard then to me you are still really swollen. Hang in there hun, like you said, you are less than a month post op. Much love, ROR

You still don't has your tubes out yet?! Man.. That has to stink :( I doesn't feel like loose skin before preop but it's not as solid as everywhere else that's swollen.. I'm hanging on but I hope it goes away! Haha

i have that too! i was really worried, but i realized alot of people have it even if they have a flat stomach. does it roll over the incision? maybe you should ask your doctor if its too bad.
December 21, 2014
Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one!! It's below my incision actually.. I'm just scared because that's where most of my loose skin was preop. I asked my doctor and he said that it's most likely just swelling which I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is!

Hi Tiffany. how are you doing? Did the swelling go down? Need an update, been thinking of you. ♡

Pretty upset.... :/

Tiffany1570
I went to my doctors appointment today and I got some news that I didn't want to hear.. Right below my belly button I thought I had swelling but he told me that he thinks its fat built up. He said hes not 100% sure though because I'm just a little over three weeks post op so it might actually go away - which I really hope so. :(( I asked him why it wasn't removed when he did the surgery and he said that he doesn't remove that fat there, which was once above my belly button, because it makes bad circulation after surgery - which you do not want because your incision needs blood going through it or your skin will die. He told me that I might have to get some MORE lipo once I hit 6 months post op and I'll have to pay $1,500 for it... super upset. :(

Tiffany, I'm no Dr. But it looks swollen to me. You're just shy if a month. Give it some time babe. I'm your number 1 fan! Stay positive!!

Aww. Hang in there. Hopefully it's swelling you're experiencing above the belly button & it will go away.
December 16, 2014
I hope so, I really do :/
December 16, 2014
I am sorry to hear that. Juat hang in there it will work out.
December 16, 2014
Thanks I really hope so.
December 17, 2014
Hi Tiffany. Sorry to hear what's going on with you. I have not yet heard of this "fat build up" problem. It is still so soon, give it time. I have seen swelling like this, even months after this surgery. It does eventually go away! Hang in there sweetheart. ♡♡♡
December 17, 2014
I just want it go away... I really do :/ I hope what you say is what I have going on! It's depressing because I put so much money and recovery into this surgery and it might not be what I paid for..
December 17, 2014
I still say you need more time. Go back and read some of the stories on realself, it helps when you see that other women have had terrible swelling and for many months afterward. I'm thinking it will resolve itself. Try not to think the worst or about doing more lipo at this point. It's to soon to go there, give your body a chance to adjust. Stay strong. ♡♡♡
December 17, 2014
I actually made a post on this website for some opinions from doctors and a couple of them haven't given me that good of news.. But I'll take your advice and I'll research some other peoples recovery. I hope my body does adjust to it and I don't have to get a secondary surgery..
December 17, 2014
I hope so too! Positive thoughts. ♡♡♡
December 18, 2014
That's got to be discouraging news. You're still headed in the right direction of being healthy. I so hope your body recovers better than anyone imagined. Hugs.

It is.. And true. I hope it does as well.

Looking good. :) in comparison to the pics, I can see the slight swelling but the definition is there. Happy healing!
December 2, 2014
Thank you!! I can't wait to see it in 6 months (; All the swelling is in my flank area, lower back and hips - it sucks!
December 2, 2014
Even with the super swelling I see a remarkable difference from your before photos! The love handles are gone girl!! You are doing so well. You're my hero! 2 more days for me Tiff! I'm super nervous, excited emotions are all over the place! Keep me in your prayers. ROR
December 2, 2014
I know I'm so excited!!:) those love handles were the worst! Aww you're too sweet!! You'll do great with your surgery, I'm sure of it!! You're going to love your new look ;) ill be sure to keep you in my prayers
December 2, 2014
I thought i was the only one that was excited about my belly button lol you look alot better, how's the straitening up going?
December 2, 2014
Haha I love mine! I can stand up pretty straight, I get tried fast though and start having to bend on a little.
December 2, 2014
We're in the same boat, i still have a little hunch, cant put my hips all the was back, without my skin feeling short lol at the end of the day I'm exhausted.
December 2, 2014
We are in the same boat. Lol I work 10-12 hour days and I "sprang" my ankle so I can't do too much ;) but when I go home, I'm so wore out! haha No one knows that I got my surgery done except for my boyfriend, best friend and you lovely ladies. So acting like I hurt my ankle helps because I can walk bent over a little because I limp every time I walk. Haha I even have a ace bandage on my ankle and all!

You are looing.good

I am so very thrilled!! :) I hope my swelling comes down soon too.. But sadly, all tummy tuck come with it and everyone has to go through it. I'm thinkful for recovering pretty fast so I can't really complain I suppose.
