MOMof3Makeover Breast Lift with Implant Exchange

Day 17 and they're healing well :) . I fell like I can do everything, but I'm not allowed to get. I can do mild walking for exercise per instructions, I still need to be careful of moving around and carrying things below 20 lbs... I need to give extra healing time for my internal stiches.
I feel good, except for some occasional tolerable pain on my stiches ( in and out) and itching.
My incisions are clean and dry as can be. I regularly take a shower on my own now since they told me I can. I massage my breast as instructed up to 3x a day but i still don't let the water directly on my wound sites my back is turned. I used our standing fan to dry the tapes Iinstead of the hairdryer on cold setting, because its more convenient and faster drying for me. I do ice pack on my breasts where there are no incisions per instructions, and I take ibuprofen if I need to for pain, which also helps with the swelling.
At this time, I'm still swollen and still have some bruising. I get uncomfortable if it gets warm in the room or where I'm at, on my wound site.
No signs and symptoms of infection so far...
My only issuez right now, since my surgery, is that I feel like I'm always on hunger mode. And I know, I cannot go on any dieting because I have to make sure my body gets everything it needs to heal better and faster. Plus the itching on and off, in which, I take benadryl and it gets resolved.
I drink lots of fluids and I eat a lot too, that's probably why I feel like I can go do things I want to...
My next appt will be next week. As of now, my stiches/wound are covered with Skin Closure Strips on my breast and hips site, no scar treatments, if needed, yet, besides the one where my bad mole was taken out. ( I placed silicone tape over it).
I keep my surrounding skin on site, moisturized.
My mold to moderate pain happens whenever I get worked out more than I should, so I make sure that I monitor myself we'll and my family does too (everybody's telling me to stop doing chores and go rest) .
I put some more photos (edited for a little privacy, not to alter actual surgery result image)

Finally, my makeover is complete! Started part 1...

Finally, my makeover is complete! Started part 1 in 2016!
My first augmentation (NS 350 and 400 cc, under) was in 2002, and now i got my new "babies" in Silicone form :)
I would not have any doctor do my breasts but Dr. Amy Alderman after my great experience and results from her surgery on me last year!!! Thanks Doc!!! :))))
Although this surgery has been planned for long, the size, and implant (NS vs. Silicone) has been a big concern/impromptu discussion between me and hubby during our pre-op appt...and budget.
They were nice enough to keep the quote they gave me last year, but because I changed my mind regarding my implant options after feeling the Silicone ones, it took me and my hubby a while to discuss the latter..and I tell you, our nurse was very patient! We were there for my pre-op appt., but because hubby and I debated (a friendly one, no worries! Lol) and Silicone came in to interest, we had to reschedule another pre-op.
Due to our budget restrictions, I almost opted for another NS implants even though I was eyeing for the silicone because of the feel, but Dr. Alderman gave us an improptu discount! She said that i should get what i want because its my body and I will be having the implants for a long time, make it worth it. ( we were really happy for the price adjustments she made for us without hesitations! We really appreciate that!) That's how we were able to afford the Silicone ones that I felt relieved about that because the Silicone felt way better to touch than the NS...big difference for a small addition in our budget. That's just my preference. :)
I stopped my multivitamins, and dieting a month prior to my surgery date. I wanna make sure I am as healthy as I can be.
I was scheduled to be at the facility by 1:30pm, then they called me in for prep at around 2pm. I got my IV right away because I didn't have anything to eat since 12 midnight. ( I was still fine since I was so excited, I can't think about food! ) and so my surgery #2 got done.
Now I'm on my 2 weeks post op, recovering. I already had my first post op appt done and so far, and my tapes were already changed. Still swollen, but getting there slowly. Healing process is shorter compared to the mini TT surgery I had last year, and less pain, too. And so far, I'm really really liking the results!!!! I'm able to get out of bed without help the next day post op not only because I'm used to using my legs and abs to lift my self, there was not a lot of pain involved.
The silicone ( 425 c.f. bilaterally) felt so natural. She placed it under the muscle, lollipop incisions, but I also got internal stiches so the new implants would stay in place after removal of the old implants.
I followed all the instructions so I can recover smoothly. My family helped me a lot around the house and our toddler. And our toddler was also cooperative, being careful not to touch or hit mommy's "bubu"...
I'm so glad i let Dr. Alderman decide on what would be the best size for me. I don't think we could've made a better choice... Why? Because she's the specialist not me, lol. We already chose the type of implant, but we let her decide on the size, placement and incision type. And for what she's done, we are very thankful, no regrets!
If they were a restaurant, I'll be a regular! The experiences I've had with them about these surgeries were so wonderful. I felt so comfortable from the first time I contacted them, even until these days.
We all have differences tho that can affect our results: One of those were our lifestyle, the ways our body heal, our daily activities, and the way we eat. Therefore, it's okay to dream of a good body, just don't expect you'll get them from just having surgeries done...we have to make smart choices about what we need to do, what to eat, and who to trust modifying our body so we can achieve a goal or two.
This is my personal experience...and I hope this could help at least, like how other reviews here helped me with my researches prior to my surgeries.
I will post updates from time to time....that way, I will be forced to do better care of my body to show off, lol!!!
Good luck on your cosmetic surgery plans! Stay healthy!
