No More Drains

I was able to have my 2nd drain removed yesterday. WooHoo!!! What I did have is a fungal infection around my belly button and around my incision. My PS had me apply an anti-fungal creme and that has stopped the crazy itching that I had. Now I also have some leaking from my incision and I have been using Bacitracin on the area.
I was also given clearance to take a shower and that is the best feeling in the world. I am using an anti-fungal soap as well as Dial to wash with.
I have also lost about 15-20 pounds as I don't clearly remember my weight on the day of surgery. I have not been dieting, just monitoring what I eat and drinking water.
Will be in my compression garment at least another 2 weeks and I must say I love my garment and when I take it off for laundering I can't wait to put it back on. Will provide updated pictures later.

Post OP Appt #2

Went to my 2nd post op appt (day 11) post op and was able to have one drain removed. I informed the PS about my itching (thinking its the nerves regenerating) , but he informed me I had developed a fungus on my skin. I purchased Aveno for anti fungal itching and I feel 1000% better. Hopefully I can get this other drain to slow and have it taken out in the next 3 days.

Day 9 Post OP

Today I decided I needed to wash my garment because my 6 year old informed me that I was stinky! With that, I find a spanx top and full torso girdle and decided to wear that while I was waiting on my garment to dry. Make sure you don't throw it in the dryer because I lined dried mine and it was tight getting it back on (part due to swelling) so I can only imagine what would happen if I dried it.

Felt really good today and will have my 2nd post op appt on Tuesday. My drains are looking really well (50cc for both in 24 hours) and should come out then. I've only been taking Tylenol 3 at night when I feel U can't get comfortable. I'm almost out of Arnica and need to order soon. That stuff is the bomb and at least takes the soreness away of you have any lipo done.

Finally, I'm back in my original garment and I'm so so happy. Will order another one because I just don't like how I feel when I remove it.

Still sleeping on my back as I feel pressure when I roll onto my sides. Still quite swollen so I will post pics after my next appt.
