It is very common for women to share with their friends that they feel self conscious about various aspects of their appearance. They feel they are over weight, wish they had larger breasts or a bigger butt, want fuller lips, or want Botox to hide their laugh lines. I spent years feeling self conscious about the appearance of my labia. But this didn't seem to be something anyone shared with their friends and I certainly didn't feel comfortable bringing it up even with my closest friends. I was very nervous on my way to the appointment and extremely embarrassed to talk about my insecurities with someone. My mind was quickly put at ease by Dr. Aguirre and his staff. He was very easy to talk to and his bedside manner made it very easy to be open and honest about all my concerns as well as the results I desired from the procedure. I did not feel at all rushed like you often do when seeing doctors. He spent plenty of time making sure all my questions were answered, explaining my options in detail including picture drawings to explain the possibile outcomes based on what I chose to do, and making sure I knew exactly what would happen the day of the procedure and in the days to follow. I also can't express enough what an amazing and friendly staff Dr. Aguirre has. From the ladies at the front desk to the nurses ever single person makes you feel welcome and at ease. The procedure itself was not bad like I thought it might be. I felt very little pain and nothing like what you would expect. It did not take long and afterwards I was able to drive myself without any problems. I had spotting for a few days but nothing alarming and keeping up on the ibuprophen was key because swelling was minimal and I did not feel any pain. It's been about 6 months since my procedure and I could not be any happier with the results. It looks beautiful and natural and I feel more confidence than I ever thought possible. Dr. Aguirre does amazing work and you will not regret choosing him for your procedures!
