attached are a few pics of me. It's been a year (and a few days) since my surgery @ VIP. In my opinion I think my tip is still a bit bulbous and my nostrils could have been taken in a bit more, however, I have no intention of during a revision. Aside from my nose I really love my chin and the results from the mid-face augmentation. My nose still gets boogery especially when the weather gets very dry, which leads to bleeding from me trying to remove them (with q-tips). however, I'm sure if I was still doin my saline rinses and using the ointment I wouldn't have this problem as much, but hey.

I have been contemplating getting rhinoplasty for some time but have only actively started looking for a surgeon for 2 years. I have decided to do my surgery at VIP International Plastic Surgery Center in Seoul, South Korea. I have decided to go with them because:

Arrival, surgery day, and 2 days post

So we (my mom and I) arrived in seoul a few days ago and as we landed we were greeted by Mr. Yoo, VIP's driver who took us straight away to do all my pre-op testing, cray, head scan, urine test, blood test, and ekg. After all this I meet with the doctor. It was recommended that on addition to my 100% rib cartilage rhinoplasty. That I also undergo mid-face aigmentation and genioplasty, which I SHOW MORE

So I got my cast off 2 days ago but they still placed bandage across my nose to help minimize swelling, but I got that off yesterday cause I had a video conference today. So far, I'm getting accustomed to my nose; one minute I love it, the next I think it looks weird. I'm not however, missing my 'old' nose and wishing I had it back. The results seem good this far, just waiting patiently for SHOW MORE

Cant believe it's been a month since my procedures; it feels like it's been such a long time but so much more to go to see final results. Everyday I get more and more accustomed to my improved features, just patiently waiting for all the swelling to go down and my tip to become more refined but I have 11months to go so no rush. Where my rib was harvested still hurts, which is unexpected, I SHOW MORE

See here a few pic 3 months post. My nose is still stiff but not an much as before. I think the swelling along the upper part of my bridge has subsided but still waiting for my tip to come down. Have a bit of swelling still on the inside and my nostrils are often itchy. As for my chin, the soreness is gone for the most part, I only can feel were my incision is and the tightness there if I SHOW MORE

So it's been 6 months since my harmony rhinoplasty and for the most part I'm still happy with the results. However, there are a few things I don't. The projection of my nose has decreased which may have been due to absorption, not a big deal or concern but I did like it when it was more projected. Also I still think my tip is too bulbous and alarms too wide. Especially when I smile my nose takes on a triangular shape which I dont particularly like and my nose still looks too wide especially from the 1/4 (half profile?). These are not things that Male me conscious about my nose or are enough to have me consider a revision its just disappointing as these are things I specifically wanted addressed when I paid so much for my nose. However, I will wait the full year, recommended time for full recovery, before discussing this with Dr. Lee and deciding what I want to do. Aside from these aesthetic concerns my Jose was bleeding and very boogery lol. This was from the dry cold weather here in socal so I connect dr. Lee and his staff and they recommended o started irrigation again, as well as sent me the ointment to use in my nose (in transit). This was really annoying as it was blocking my breathing but it's gotten better and the bleeding subsided (which would be seen when I blew my nose in my mucus and from the dry blood scabs as well as when I cleaned my nose with qtips). Also, my nose is still hard and stiff neither of which bothers me. Aside from my nose, my chin is fine, i only feel slight pain in my chin when i sleep on it (I sleep on the side of my face so if there is prolonged contact with my chin and firm pillow it hurts when I get up) which quickly dissipates.
