Ethnic revision rhinoplasty with Dr Waseem Saeed

I had my first rhinoplasty in turkey and the results were dreadful. My tip was over rotated and my nostrils were extremely retracted and uneven. I was offered no follow up care and kept being told that the issue would resolve once the "swelling" settled.
Looking for a revision surgeon was very hard. I was worried that i would have my nose ruined again. Luckily for me, I was able to find atleast three girls on Instagram who have revision rhinoplasties with Dr Saeed and were over the moon with their results. Some even referred to him as the "nose
God"!
I really did not want to go back to turkey for my revision and wanted to stay in the UK for my surgery for my own piece of mind.
I met with Dr Waseem Saeed for my first consult and he was so lovely and understood all of my concerns straight away. He was always open about the risks of my revision rhinoplasty and was honest about what he thought he could achieve. Based on how he was at the first consult, I knew I wanted to book with him right away, but Dr Saeed actually cares about his patients and wanted me to go away and think about it and then come back for another consult to make sure I made the right decision.
Fast forward to my surgery - I had this at the Wilmslow Hospital in Manchester. Wow! ALL the staff were amazing! My room was lovely, I had my own tv and en-suite. I really believe all the staff deserve a pay rise with the kindness they showed me. They're the nicest bunch of hospital staff I've met.. and I've worked in a few hospitals.
Dr Saeed saw me before my surgery so that we could go over what I wanted for my nose, and he was there when I woke up to tell me how the surgery went. This is something that I didn't have in turkey. I then saw him the following day too.
In terms of aftercare and meds, dr Waseem Saeed is very thorough. He gave me meds to ensure that I avoid blood clotting and advised me to wear compression tights and walk regularly. Blood clotting was news to me and this is something I wasn't made aware of with my previous surgeon.
When I took my cast off at 6 days post op, I couldn't believe it! It was so shocking it took me a while to get used to it. I couldn't believe that Dr Saeed had been able to bring my tip down as much as he did! I'm so happy with it.
The pictures show me before my operation and at 6 days post op (when I took my cast off) and the difference is clear. I'm really happy so far and I'm hoping it just gets better and better!! Luckily for me I've not suffered from any extreme swelling and I've been able to go out without a care in the world!
I'm so happy I found Dr Saeed ,he has really helped me improve my confidence, I don't even worry about my nose anymore and I'm currently only 19 days post op.
For anyone interested, I needed my own rib cartilage to restructure my nose. I will write another update in 6 months.
