BBL Reduction Round 2

I wanted to give myself a bit of time to heal before posting an update on my revision. First off, I must say that I extremely happy with my decision on a reduction. Most of you guys were all very supportive and gave me positive feedback with the exception of one negative poster who decided to spill her rant in my inbox of how my butt looks worse now. One piece of advise for you ladies, not everyone will be happy with your decision, but so what! It's up to you to be happy with your own body, and tell the negative ones to eff off. If you want a round 2,3,or 4 ; it's your coins, spend them how you want. A lot of folks asked, why did u want a huge but and then wanted it smaller, well, I'm not a surgeon, I dont know how 1800 cc's of extra ass will look after 3 years. So, for me, a reduction was what made me happy. I work out 5 days a week, and I want my body to reflect the work. People stare at me still, because my butt is amazing. I don't mind the stares. Here is an update on my BBL reduction. I added lots of pics for u guys. I feel so amazing! Dr Salama is the best, hands down!

First off, I searched all over Real Self and I saw where people got BBL reductions, but they never updated or posted any photos, so I consider myself to be the first person who actually documented and took the step to just trust my own decision to have my butt reduced, having no idea of the outcome. My first surgery was on Friday the 9th, I had revision to the bottom portion of my butt, as well as a little fat pocket on my stomach. Dr Salama removed 1400 cc's by performing liposuction only. Before surgery, he told me that the pocket on my stomach could only be repaired by opening me up and suturing my stomach muscle, kinda like a mini tummy tuck. He offered to send me for a CT scan to confirm the exact cause of the lump (Seroma or torn relaxed muscle tissue), then he would proceed with the surgery. I told him that I am trying to have a baby with my husband so I really don't want to do anything with my stomach, my major concern is my butt shape. Moving forward, he removed the fat from my butt and stomach. Afterwards, I got the dreaded massage from hell! Then Dr Salama saw me and I told him that I wanted more taken in at my waist BC my butt was still too big around the upper hip area. My husband, mom, daughter, best friend all advised against me doing more surgery, so basically I had zero support in my abrupt decision to be put back to sleep. Dr Salama was my only support system. He said yes there are risks but you are very healthy and I'm not giving you the full dose of anesthesia either time. The first time, I was chewing gum (which is dangerous) and so he had to do mild anesthesia to keep me from aspirating during surgery. Dont eat anything after midnight, includes gum and mint. LoL, my bad! Anyway, Dr Salama called me and told me to come into the surgery center at 2pm for my reduction. Once in the office, he said , "this is it" , he told me to look in the mirror and see if I am in agreement with his markings? I looked and said "hold up, wait, whoa whoa whoa!" I love my hips and I dont want a huge hole in them, this circle looks like a hole" He then pulled my skin back and said, "you want it like the picture you showed me." I said yeah, but I dont want my hips to be gone away." We did some back and fourth talk and finally came to a mutual decision. Alex came in, hooked me up to anesthesia...I bet him that I could count to 10 bf falling to sleep..I remember us singing ABC's instead of counting...then I woke up in recovery. Yesterday, I saw Dr Salama and he showed me my new body, except we had no mirror. I was freaking out saying that my hips are gone, He kept reassuring me that they are not gone. He helped me put my garment and my foam pads back ...we laughed at what the nurses would think if they walked in on us. I really felt comfortable with him and I love how cool and down to earth he is. I want to send him a nice gift or something to express my gratitude BC He did not have to find time to see me again. I had 2 flights to get home that same day, so anxious about if I made the right decision. As soon as I walked in the door, my husband and daughter said "take off your clothes, lets see!"
We were all so amazed and excited about my outcome. Dr Salama is the god of asses. I swear that I will never let another surgeon get near my butt, especially BC I have very loose skin and its a really tricky butt. Check out the pics.
