32 Year Old W/ 2 Kids, Second Surgery - Manhattan, NY

As a mother with two kids (11 and 4) I felt it was time to update my 385 cc silicone implants from a decade ago. As 10 years plus had past since my last surgery I set out to discuss with as many "top surgeons" as possible before selecting one. We live in Western Canada and I began my search locally, no one really put myself at ease so we decided to expand our search to the "land of plastic surgery" and I set out to Beverly Hills to discuss a new set of implants. I met with three surgeons in California and after listening to what they thought was best for my body (600 CC's max they said) I decided to try the East Coast in my continued search.

I am 6 foot 1 and weigh 155 lbs and figured my body sized and shape would allow me to get (very) large 800 cc MP+ silicone implants under the muscle without looking too big on me. I met with two surgeons in NYC and then met with Dr. Desai, he was the first Doctor I felt truly listened to what I felt was right for my body, then he respectfully asked questions and we further discussed the procedure. To say I felt comfortable at once would be a major understatement, Dr. Desai felt more like a friend, a highly skill surgical friend, but a friend no doubt. One who respected me enough to listen to what I wanted, while providing qualified medical advise to backup and/or refute areas we were discussing. I went back to the hotel and phoned my husband to tell him we had finally found out Doctor, equally impressive to my husband was the reasonable cost versus some of the ridiculous prices (three times the cost in NYC) we had been quoted in California where I would not even be getting what I really wanted.

I am only one week post surgery but my breasts look AMAZING, coming out of anesthesia was a bit longer so if you fly in I recommend two days prior to surgery. The team looked after me pre and post surgery like a VIP. I have had very minimal bruising and have been sleeping in an elevated position so the swelling is minimal as well. We (my husband and I) are thrilled with the results, these are the breasts I have wanted all along!! For the taller ladies out there 800 CC's are not too big, they look just right. Thank you so much Dr Desai and the entire team, I look forward to my breasts looking more and more amazing over the next 2-3 months as all scars heal and the swelling continues to go down. Dr Desai is an incredible person and brilliant surgeon, if you are considering breast augmentation please consider him for your procedure, I am so happy I did and I know you will be happy with Dr Desai too.
